If you are a fan of Gwar and you like some humor with your metal. Then I would suggest you go to http://www.hevydevy.com and pick up this disc. This CD is very well produced and the band is flawless. The singer has a range and a selection of vocal styles. He can go from doing a great King Diamond high end to the lowest cookie monster sludge and then head into some great bay area thrash vocals. Musically the band comes up with some great tunes and I haven’t figured them all out but they will remind you of different metal bands. So if you like a good laugh along with some killer metal then I think you should join the Legions of Flame and pitch away the patchouli.

I know some of the true out there think that this sucks dick because of the keyboards but I think this band uses them a lot better then some of the others out there. I still think Cradle of Filth over uses the old Keyboard intro. Fuck just listen to Principles and that will show you. I liked this disc and it is heavy tunes one here. The thing I don’t like is the fact that the songs are just a bit to long for me. In addition, the music seems to drag on and on. But this is the first time I have heard of them and maybe after a few more times in the CD player, the band might grow on me but right now, this disc will be filed away somewhere. Just not enough intensity to keep me listening again and again. (Century Media) Rating: 6/10 |

What can any one say about Doom other then the fact that they always seem to churn out some great pissed off Hardcore. This CD has a lot more of a metal tone to the guitars, great production also on this disc. A must have for any crusty who wants to be the coolest so called punk on the block. (Discipline) Rating: 8/10 |
