Nile - Seattle 07/08/2001

I've seen Nile play a few times before and have always enjoyed them as a live band. However this was the first time I had the opportunity to see them in a larger venue with a state of the art sound system. This made all the difference in the world as their sound was really thick and I was able to hear all of the instruments correctly. Although they were an opener, their sound was far superior to headliner Cradle of Filth. My hat goes off to the sound man as he did a kick ass job! Although I'm not too familiar with Nile's songs they seemed to be very tight as a unit, not to mention simp[ly being incredibly heavy. I enjoyed their entire set and will be ordering a few of their CDs as a result of the performance.
