Lucio Fulci (1927-1996)
What would I be like today if I hadn't had the
chance to see " Zombie" in a local drive-in at age 12? Who the hell
knows but I've got to say that I just love this man's films! When I was living
in rural Alaska in the early 1990's Chas.
Balun reintroduced me to the works of "The Godfather of Gore"
and set me off into video collecting with the intent to complete my Fulci collection.
I watched his movies all the time and even had the audacity to show them , uncut
of course, on my Saturday night horror movie program. I tell you it came as
quite the shock to me when I found out he had passed away. The old man and his
movies will always hold a special place in my heart.
