Since Remo pretty much blew the doors off it :)
I'm starting to make a list of recent films with this ending...

So far I've got Secret Window, The Machinist and Hide & Seek.

If Giannetto De Rossi, a man who is now well into his 60s, can come roaring back out of nowhere with FX credits on an amazing film like High Tension... anything can happen.

Something to think about.

I just took my gf to see the US theatrical release. I give her a lot of credit for not walking out. Even with the cuts, it's still pretty gory. I compared it to a divx I have which is labeled as a "2003 DVD screener," and there is some minor splashing that was snipped for the US screen. “H...

Saw it this morning for the first time, and wasn't impressed. anyone can loop a scary sound effect and make a ghostly figure appear suddenly. I don't know if even Buffy can breathe new life into this turd.

I've had the 2-disc version (Shriek Show?) pre-ordered FOREVER. I'm curious which one I should get, if I should cancel my preorder and wait until there are some comparative reviews, etc.

Remo, you're killin' me.

Admittedly, the first half of Cabin Fever was highly entertaining, and showed loads of promise. But from there on out, it spiraled into a tangled mess, all but crying out for direction. Such wasted potential... luckilly I only had to pay $5 for my ticket.

titties!

Just saw it with my girl on $5 night at the local shithole. Was that really Katharine "Ginger" Isabelle naked in the shower, or was it a body double? If that's really her, DAMN, she's got better tits than I would've thought! And while looking up her name, I found that two other Ginger Snap...

Uzumaki manga

Just picked up book #2 of the Uzumaki manga (graphic novel) on which the film was based. It's just as excellent as the first, and goes into a LOT more detail than the movie. If you've only seen the film, wait until you see the full story of the kid who likes to surprise people... I wish they'd filme...

another positive impression

Reign of Fire was great. The seamless integration of modern weaponry with old-school "steampunk" technology was right up my alley. I agree about seeing the dragons less often making you appreciate them all the more. It's a shame, the opening weekend crowd (Saturday 7:40 PM showing) was inc...

Poker Industries

I won the Ichi disc on Monday, and paid for it hours later via Paypal. I haven't gotten shit from Poker Industries since, except for a form email asking for payment. This is very unlike them, at least in my experience. I haven't ordered anything from them in a while, but it seems like they've really...

not a bad idea, Chris... but...

I've long since lost all those mp3's. I'd have to re-rip all my Goblin discs, and solicit contributions from other forum members. Furthermore, bandwidth ain't cheap, as I'm sure you already know. We'd almost be better off using a P2P network like Kazaa (make sure you use the Lite version! no spyware...

question about Fulci soundtracks from DAGORED (Italy)

I was checking out The Beyond's soundtrack on 180gm vinyl with a Gatefold sleeve... supposedly includes a poster, too. Anyone taken this plunge yet, or know anything about the record label? see http://www.forcedexposure.com/artists/frizzi.fabio.html I wonder if the Gates of Hell soundtrack got simil...
