Beef with Anchor Bay
Here my little beef with Anchor Bays Sleepaway Camp on DVD… Well, I just did a side by side comparison of Medias VHS of Sleepaway Camp and Anchor Bays Sleepaway Camp to see for myself what in fact was cut from the DVD. The main scenes I noticed cut are described here: http://www.angelfire.com/retro/...

Hey Robert, I can understand what you're saying about NF. I'm from here and presently living here, but St. John's (capital city) isn't like you've described. It isn't Toronto either, (but I'm not a fan of the big city myself). Once you leave St. John's, for surrounding areas you're fucked when it co...

Yeah it’s hard to find a good Dreamcast one with a reasonable share requirement. If you find one that is pretty good, let me know. Kisa Hubben requires 3 open slots and 5 gigs which isn't bad at all. You can't have installed files or VOB files shared or they will kick you out. Other then these rules...

Horror hub on Direct Connect
I just downloaded an AVI rip of the movie "Freeze Me" from Direct Connect that came with an .NFO, .IDX, and a .SUB file. The movie plays fine, but without subtitles. With these additional files there must be a way to watch the film with subs. Anyone ever go through this before? I checked a...

UGH, the film was mediocre at best. I remember someone posting this films URL on here ages ago, before it was released and I was excited about it. But to me it was a great disappointment. Sure it’s a true story but that doesn't mean the film is great. After reading a book on Ed Gein and several arti...

Last I remember “The Fear” was on my worst list as well, but I still think the worst film of all time is “The Mummy Returns”. A couple horror films I've watched recently that were wretched turds though were “Terror At Tenkiller” and “Clownhouse” – the latter directed by child molester Victor Salva. ...

My guess for the long running time on this one is because Lucas needed a longer film to cover up for all the decapitations and violence in it. If the film cut out a lot of the melodrama crap then it probably wouldn’t of gotten a PG rating cause the MPAA would of looked at it as mostly violence. I’m ...

spoilers. ------ I really enjoyed the film. Saw it yesterday and today a friend took me along for free. Sure, the romance was stupid, the humor was cheese, and the CG was inconsistent, but I liked the story and the action scenes. And of course Yoda! He had to be the best CG integrated character mixe...

Rented this DVD tonight and noticed a frontal bush blur in one of the scenes. Upon further investigation apparently Lynch decided to put the blur in himself. So now brings the question why film a pubic region if only to blur it later?? Doesn't make any sence to me. Here is what I read about this iss...

Well Shawn, you can keep your money! This film was fucking awesome! I'm gonna see this again before it leaves theatres! Everything about it was fucking cool! I haven't seen a cooler film than this in theatres in years! Apparently Del Toro is directing Hellboy another comic book adaptation. I’m defin...

I like the Friday films for the exact reasons you listed Shawn, but this entry just didn’t do it for me. For one thing I’m not much of a fan of futuristic space films. I would have preferred the same ol’ stuff if they were going to make another film -- Jason back to his stomping grounds, choppin’ sh...

Went to see this last night with the girlfriend not expecting too much, but was curious as to why people liked it. I didn’t think too highly of it. It wasn’t totally shitty. It was decent. I didn’t think it was a fun flick, I found it to be fairly repetitive and boring. Just the constant loud jolts ...

I first heard about this while watching an interview with Lloyd Kaufman and one of the writers of Terror Firmer, who both toted it a being a frightening film. I Rented Session 9 along with Sexy Beast last night, and was quite impressed with both. Session 9 has a steady flow of eerie atmosphere throu...
