I've got a old school kung fu article up

My first article is up at the Tomb of DVD site. First up, kung fu DVD buyer's guide. Get ready for a LONG read, as I tried to include just about every US release, though I know I left out a few. This is my final draft version and it looks a lot better! Hope you enjoy it! Next up at the Cave, a visit...

Full Time Zu

Zu is a sequel in a round about way. It bombed in HK cause it went up againest a bunch of comedies and the story sucked. Full Time Killer is only okay. If you're looking for some great Woo like flicks though, you're close. Here's a post I put on another forum a little while ago with some suggestions...

The film only did okay at the HK box office and did alright here on the art circuit. Then Hark shot himself in the foot with Zu Warriors, the biggest boxoffice ...

one extra point.

In the intro to the graphic novels and the new collected ed., M.A.C. goes on for quite a while about the LW&C "influence" on the story. But you'd think as a lover of Asian films, he'd insist on a credit of some sort for the man that made it all. And BTW, M.A.C. is a suck ass writer fro...

I saw your post too late!! Everytime I've been by the Starlight, they aren't showing anything! I know they show some cool stuff every once in a while. You've got to keep me up on the ATL. scene! I live in Macon, so it's not too far. And trust me, I know Moreland Ave. is NOT the street to get stuck o...

to answer the question...

They closed down cause the in-fighting between the forum owner, the people there, and a bunch of bootleggers got so bad it nearly took over the site. No one talked about anything but the bootleggers, so he shut it down once and then reopened a week later, but it was still to crazy for him, so he shu...

Oh yeah!!

This was the place I first ran into the force that is Bruce H., or the enigma that was Baron Blood. Damn those flame wars of his were entertaining. This was my first board too, so here's to the Filth! BTW, I like the new look!

Just to be a little more clear on regarding Hong Kong Legends: They don't want to make a re-make, they just released a GREAT DVD of NAKED KILLER in the UK with director's commentary, remastered (WAY better than the Megastar release), an interview with Simon Yam, and half a billion other extras. If y...
