gothbat, Yeah, finds at "out of business" sales, bargain bins, trades, etc used to be great. I found a lot of good stuff that way, for a reasonable price. I had lots of fun with VHS, the hunt for tapes, looking for out of print tapes, out of business sales, etc. However things have for the...

The msot recent surprise I had was Death Wish Club (Carnival of Fools). Awesome little movie. A unique film, hahaha. Good stuff. Not exactly a gem, but surprises can be just as fun. THE gem for me would be, "The Pit". After I first saw it on telvision, it took YEARS for me to locate a copy...

Latte has a good approach, hahaha.

I follow something similar, I pretty much ignore it. If it's not a remake I care to see, I don't see it, talk about it, etc.

Reminds me of a Tales from the Crypt episode, "IGNORE IT, IGNORE IT, IGNORE IT!"

BGL, a good place to find information on other films to track down, that may be of interest to you, are books and the internet. There are many sites out there with reviews for many horror films, recent, and not so recent (Mortado's page of filth?) There are some hefty review books out there, flippin...

I didn't think much of the new Hills Have Eyes, either. The first HHE, I thought it was decent, nothing too impressive, a way to eat up 90min. I feel almost the saem way about this remake. Something about the film felt too silly. US Flag is shown a lot. In general, there was nothing in the film that...

Unhinged is pretty decent. I picked it up on a whim a few years ago, when it was under the IndieDVD label. It's watchable, if you like slightly goofy horror films that were made rather cheaply (This one's not TOO cheap). It has it's touches of cheese ("Are you in there with one of your MEN?!?!&...

The original is pretty good. The Banjo tune at the begining, "... Robert E Lee broke his musket on his knee and from the ground there came an awful sound YEEEEEEEHAW...." Pretty much sets the mood for the film. The detour scene is lots of laughs. The movie itself is good fun, though it dra...

Zombie's catalog # is 019

Zombie had 2 different sized boxes from Wizard, regular and porn size. Both have the same catalog #.

I gave my Wizard VHS of TCM to my sister, however I'm sure I can round that catalog # up for you sometime this week.

I don't go so far as to say Full Frontal Nudity equals a good movie. HOWEVER, it can give more incentive to watching a so-so movie. It can also make a good movie even better (usually)! There have been times, I've had some crap playing, and though there is some nudity here and there, the movie is so ...

$6.00 clearance DVD's at DDD

For folks not familiar, Sony is discontinuing about 200 of their DVD's. A lot of this stuff used to retail for around $20.00. Some horror stuff there, and at $6.00 it's a bit affordable to make some "Blind Buys". A few horror films I ordered: - Experiment in Terror - See No Evil (Decent fi...

I'm not too fond of the original. It's decent for what it is, I'd rather watch Hills Have Eyes than Children of the Corn, haha. I'm still debating whether or not to bother with this in the theatre. It will be edited, and later there will be an Unrated DVD. The only incentive I see in catching it in ...

Angelica, MTV has released some decent stuff. Joe's Apartment. The movie is decent, I have probably seen it twice, 1st when it was new to video, again on cable or something. i could watch it again. Beavis and Butthead Do America. An amazing movie. I saw it opening day around 11pm or so. I have never...

It didn't seem anything like a Tales from the Crypt episode to me. Tales from the Crypt pretty much always had some sort of humour to it, even if it was subtle. I can't think of any TV series I could compare Masters of Horror to. It's more like what I woudl expect from an anthology horror movie such...

I watched part of the epsiode that aired last night. Directed by Coscarelli. The episode definately had a "made-for-TV" feel, however, I pretty much expected that. I was watching this while I fixed something to eat, so I didnt' catch all of it. Seemed like a girl driving around encounters ...

Neutopia on the Turbo Grafx can fuck with the NES Zelda. The Hack 'n Slash game series Wizards and Warriors was lots of fun. 8 Eyes and Gauntlet 2 were great multiplayer games. Kimberly, I feel almsot the same way about Evil Dead Trap, however I felt after 20 minutes had passed, the best stuff was over. I especially tired of the movie when the girl goes back to her car, then decides to explore more. It was funny, and made me laugh, other than that, it didn't help much. lla...

Latte, I thought Evil Dead Trap was alright during the first 20-30 minutes, then it went downhill. The idea was pretty good, much could have been done with it. However, it got too complicated and silly for me. Still, some people think the movie is awesome. Premutos I haven't seen, though from what I...
