I wish it were that simple, Luke, it really would tell certain bands that it isn't worth their time. Unfortunately, it isn't that simple. There are a lot of really shitty bands in Seattle that draw much better than the good ones. That is another example that hurts your analysis of band draw. How do...

Another possible explanation: your band sucks. There is really no huge reasoning behind issues like bad turnouts other than that really. Promotion definitely helps but if you play interesting and unique music people will get the buzz on you and try to make it out at some point. Other than that, if y...

Yeah maybe that's why S7 banned me... I didn't sell a single ticket for the Necrophagist show they asked us to open a year ago. Or for any show we've played for that matter. Pay to play, huh? Pretty sad. I feel sorry for anyone who puts up with that venue's bullshit. Fuck them. If I'm going to sell ...

How many people showed up to El Corazon last night? We had about 20 at Studio 7...(not including the bands that were playing) Bout the same man. Maybe 30ish tops. Sound guy really screwed things up and the monitors weren't really happenin, so maybe its good the attendance was low key. Wasn't stoked...

Dude, Jorge... I was serious as a heart attack when I explained my situation with Studio 7. I'm no longer welcome there and permanently BANNED and threatened with police from Nicole herself, etc. I think I made it pretty clear to the Hunab guys several times that I won't/can't play there ever again....

Nothing is more annoying than drunk ass militant vegans. I will break out my leather jacket, of which I haven't worn in over 5 years... They aren't vegans for one (vegetarian since they binge on cheese pizza a lot), and I rather doubt you'd offend them anyway considering they hired a pretty carnivo...

Hey Red, you'll be back tokin' away in no time. Count on that. That aromatic robust tobacco blend... like warm bread, blowing through your nostrils. You know you still want it, such a stress reliever and past-time reflection it is. Mmmmm. Naysaying is my job. ''If I quit smoking, there's going to be...

Seattle fucking sucks, Luke made the right choice. Get the fuck out of there and don't look back or regret it. I don't miss it at all. Well, except the band, friends and family. of course. Yeah, that is the only magnetic force that brings me back everytime... friends and music. Luckily I have no ba...

Sac sucks. It's like the Spokane of California. But good luck again. The last couple months I've been two steps away from moving in with my friend that just got a place in Long Beach. LBC naggums.... The Spokane of California will always have sunlight and colored (yes, tanned) women. Unlike the Sea...

why where are you going to be? You have the night free... Back in Sac man. I think that was my last attempt to make a life in Washington. I just don't feel it there like I used too. Unpredictable gloomy weather, pasty white fat chicks and high cigarette/beer prices got me down for too long . So man...

We've been added to June 11th's Monday Metal Madness over at The Central. With Hunab Ku. Sleep Terror was booked for this night, but Luke fired everyone in his band.. again... for the eighth time. So we're filling in. Tell your friends... [/LIST] Hilarious... but untrue. One couldn't relocate and f...

I agree with everything you said. Every point. I guess I'm a glass half full guy, because the positives of that weekend far outweighed the negatives (certain elements of the club). I focused more on that. Nothing wrong with that at all. The best shows you're going to play will be run by people who ...

I didn't really care for our first Portland show. Bunch of shitty kids staring at their nails and cellphones during our set. Only a select few up front really appreciative of our set. Rock N' Roll pizza was kind've disappointing too in terms of the security attitudes and operation of loading in and ...

I've had the YFB vhs since I was like 9, and 4 hours worth of videos from every television performance and video they've ever made. Not to mention 'Video Croissant' and the video vhs they released after Album of the Year with more updated video additions including Everything's Ruined. So needless to...

Earth Crisis- 'New Ethic' This is the new ethic. Animals' lives are their own and must be given respect. Reject the anthropocentric falsehood that maintains the oppressive hierarchy of mankind over the animals. It's time to set them free. Their lives reduced to biomachines in the factory farm and l...
