I've seen the uncut DRIVE (R2 DVD) and I must say that Decascos' action/martial arts scenes are the most phenomenal this side of HK's best.

Now, who's seen DOUBLE DRAGON?

Now I ain't seen BROTHERHOOD OF THE WOLF but I've been looking forward to it for quite some time. It must be said, however, that I prefer the traditional approach to martial arts coverage being primarily medium-long shots to long shots of the action, preferably in 2.35:1. I reckon something of the a...

Yeah, its pretty nifty. You can even note down which DVDs have been lent out to who and for how long which comes in handy when you've got leeches constantly popping in and taking off with your prize discs. Just make sure that you configure your settings so that adult titles aren't hidden or else peo...

Ahem! Oh yes, yes, I believe something to do with a woman giving birth to a physical manifestation of her own infedelity, and uh, how do you say...

Actually, I don't pretend to fully understand this movie and I've only seen the full length version but hey, I likes it. Knock yerself out, Chico.

Haven't seen JEEPERS but apparently Fondlin' Salva was charged for committing such deviancies. Speaking of molestation, CHERRY FALLS was fun enough throwaway entertainment. Didn't take itself too seriously, didn't act like it was the best thing since sliced shit, either. Aussie director Geoffrey Wri...

Rich, I believe your pic is still up in the Rogue's Gallery, wherever that is.

CRYING FREEMAN ain't a masterpiece but its definitely got its moments - good and bad. Yes, the action scenes are choreographed by Gans himself in definite Woo-ish fashion. He used just a bit too much slow-mo for my liking but it is a very attractively shot and staged movie. I once saw the original a...

I've actually heard of this elsewhere... just where exactly I don't recall.

I dunno, why bother? Deodato would get his arse kicked, if not thrown in jail, if he tried to pull that animal snuff shit nowadays.

Yup, just got back from seeing this for the second time and it seemed to move alot faster. Not only can I really appreciate Jacko's pacing of scenes but there's still plenty of stuff alluded to in the dialogue and action to keep the butter churning. One thing: I could've used just one more taste of ...

I don't think I even saw enough NEW horror movies this year to fill out a top ten, let alone a top five. My pessimism is tragic considering its quite obviously my favourite genre. I'm thinking that CHOPPER must've been released here last year as it didn't even make my consideration. Its been awhile ...

Bravo, Remo. Long live tradition here at Mortado's! I'm afraid I don't get out to the flicks much here, I'm rarely inspired to, so I can't comment on the scene at large but I'll offer up an extremely brief assessment. BATTLE ROYALE (yeah so its 2000 but it didn't hit us until 2001) and FELLOWSHIP OF...

Is that you, Sloth? Yeah, its a Guillermo del Toro flick. I'm expecting good things from this guy, given the right project. He's actually got me kinda looking forward to BLADE 2, which is no mean feat since I didn't find the first one particularly compelling. Nice nick, by the way... ---------------...
