As a huge fan of Kevin Smith I thought that they were OK. There are a few really funny gems in each episode. There are a few episodes that are consistently funny. I had high expectations that were not met in regards to these. I like the introduction from Jay where he adds in all of the swear words. ...

I watched reloaded at the IMAX theater. While the movie was lacking in the areas you discussed the experience of watching it in that environment made up for it slightly. Revolutions will be released simultaneously at IMAX as well as every damn theater.

General caveats: 1) these are who I could think of off of the top of my head, they may or may not be my all time top 5 but they are super swell in my book 2) annoying people are many times more numerous than people of greatness, just assume that if they are not on the favorite list that they are on ...

Closet Land

Just got my copy in the mail. I figure that this will never come out on DVD so I went head and bought the VHS and I have no regrets. If it does come out on DVD then I will own another copy of this great movie. It has been about five years since I saw it last. Anybody else see this? It is an incredib...

I couldn't resist the Family Guy. What broke it for me is that I have only seen half of The Family Guy episodes and I have seen every Red Dwarf episode numerous times. Red Dwarf next month.

I am trying to track down the movies that affected me the most at different stages of my life. These are the ones that I want to own. I do not really care to collect the newest Disney flick or the blockbuster action thriller hit of the summer what have you. I am not a genre specific collector either...

WTF. Why is it that in this day and age movies can go out-of-print? I am trying to track down Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead without having to pay $50+ for a dumb-ass VHS tape. Same with Closet Land. Grrr... Everything should be on DVD anyways. I could only find Name Of The Rose released in f...

Where have the good movies gone?

After waiting months salivating in a slow Pavlov frenzy to see The Two Towers there is a vacuum in my life. All the movies out right now suck. I have seen all of the new releases that I could want for. The new trailers I have seen are for movies in 2009 or some such nonsense. What is a guy to do? An...

I am somewhat tardy in seeing this one but better late than never, right? WOW. Fucking crazy insane shit. I am not quite certain I understand it fully but it has been well worth the brain cycles engaged in comprehension. Anyone else agree that this was one of the best films of the last year?

I agree, with the disclaimer of "strengths and weaknesses" aside. I am far to critical of these movies in light of having practically memorized the books after umpteen-hundred readings. While this one strays as far from the book it is quite a feature nonetheless. Go see it but bring a back warmer or...
