Light snow in Kenmore. Got an inch or so on the ground. Fortunately I have a house full of junk food and I work from home, so I don't actually have to deal with it.

Never been inside one of those cabs, but it used to be pretty common for some manufacturers to use a light bulb as a current limiter, mostly in cheap junk equipment though. If you use a 100 watt bulb, it's electrically almost transparent until you crank the voltage up enough to create a load larger ...

Happy Birthday!!! See you at AC/DC??? Really wanted to go, but I'm self-employed and the end of the month is all about doing invoicing and payroll. I don't get to come up for air for the next 48 hours. (porn stars get a little pissy if they don't get paid) Thanks to all, and remember that ...

I want boobies on toast, dammit!

Yeah well, you should give me some pointers on being self-employed then. My aggravation threshhold with the construction business is about reached.... 1) - find something you can stomach doing all day every day 2) - make sure you can do it better than about 70-80% of all the other people doing it 3...

As I've said many times before, being self-employed is a LOT more work than a 9-to-5, but at least I'll never be fired. Thankfully, the porn business is pretty much recession-proof so my client base is actually increasing steadily.

Change begins at the local level. Why not start now by swapping out your tattered, skid-marked undergarments for a fresh pair of boxers or briefs? Then try a new set of guitar strings. (Maybe mix it up a little with fat-bottom, skinny tops or something). After that, why not switch to a new flavor of...

I haven't played professionally since the Regan administration, but back in the day I was in a lot of cover bands so I had to change up styles and tone pretty often. I ended up splitting about 50/50 between fingers and Ernie Ball thumb picks (designed for banjo and mandolin) which I wore all the tim...
