Got a DVD burner? I don't see why you couldn't rip your favourite trailers from the discs in your collection and make a compilation out of 'em. A friend of mine has a 5 disc DVD changer that has a chapter-shuffle function. I made him a bunch of DVDs full of music videos that he fires up on random wh...

Yeah, it was rated an R (Australia's highest rating next to X - which is exclusively for porn) and I think that, tonally, it is warranted if nothing more than for consistancy with other rulings. You'll find that alot of Aussie stuff is classified by tone rather than content and, of course, the relat...

It features probably one of the more inept serial killers you'll see in a movie. He does his work in a big old warehouse and people are constantly just walking in on him. This exchange happens about 5 times in the movie: killer: "How did you get in here?!!?" intruder :"The door was o...

I think subsequent viewings of CREEK will be a more studious effort than an involving one. The lengthy set-up will suffer in particular. I think its main aim is to lull you into a rhythm and establish a stark sense of reality in which its later atrocities will have some gravity. Its a legitimate alt...

Murdoch just got convicted - they're putting him away for life. They actually delayed the release of the film in the Northern Territory for fear it might influence the outcome of the trial... And that 'head on a stick' thing was Milat's M.O. - morbid stuff. I liked the movie. Thought it was great. B...

Jackson is a great director, make no mistake, I just think it's going to take more than Hobbits to turn me into the drooling fanboy that my friends are. Well, its not like Jackson is asking you to be a drooling fanboy. If you think he's a great director, why deny yourself a potentially pleasant exp...

Remember when Brian Yuzna had a similar idea back in the early 90's? He was trying to get a series of movies off the ground based on the 7 deadly sins. The idea was to get some of the big names in horror at the time to helm each installment - most of whom ended up on MoH.
