Keymont, I'm shocked. Ain't you an Atlanta boy? You should be waving the CANNIBAL APOCALYPSE flag! What would your forefathers think?

Yeah, put me down as a fan of this film. I've only seen it once, a while ago at that, so don't expect any interpretations from me. Speaking of ALL NIGHT LONG 2, Alan, that's some fucked up shit. The behaviour displayed in that flick is just plain wrong. Don't misunderstand me, I'm not taking the mor...

If its not even then I'd say more men were killed. I think there's a misconception that more women are k...

After bouncing back and forth between the first two, I'd have to say that the original THE EVIL DEAD gets top place.

I love AoD, I think its hilarious and a fine homage to other works but it gets a bit routine towards the end and obviously failed Evil Dead Mythology 101.

I've seen this infamous flick once, a few years back. All I remember is some zombie baby flying (yes, flying - none to convincingly) around a graveyard and attacking a few poor sods. I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant to be taken seriously...

Chris, it can take quite a while depending on the desired size, quality, duration of your DivX and most importantly, on how big your computer's balls are. There are certain programs and tutorials out there that'll help you out. I use Fair Use myself because it pretty much does it all but requires so...

Ha ha, I could, couldn't I, 138? Well, my computer is my DVD player so its no extra hassle for me to output a DivX onto my TV. Plus, I'm a lazy sack of shit and would prefer not to get up and change discs - don't SVCDs only hold about 25-35 minutes on each CD? Haven't tried making one yet. Latte, my...

Alright, that's it. My old lady has Foxtel. I'm gonna get World Movies on there for a month, haul my computer up there, capture it in high res and make a sweet double disc DivX of it to keep me warm at night. Next best thing to owning the DVD. Wankinstein, Muncher, Jon - hold me to this lest letharg...

Allan, can't you just get World Movies put on for like one month? 7 bucks or whatever it is would be well worth it. 'Specially since I'll no doubt benefit from your brief subscription.

Only seen STAGEFRIGHT and DELLAMORTE DELLAMORE myself. STAGEFRIGHT is okay but nothing special. DELLAMORTE, on the other hand, makes all the right moves with healthy levels of violence, nudity and an enigmatic storyline that transcends your typical zombie flick and will either leave you rubbing your...

I've been wondering about this one ever since I first heard of it. Some fairly stylish photography for a DV effort but where are the zombies in the trailer? I counted three. More, please. The characters seem like piss-takes (send-ups) on the type you'd come across in local TV productions down this w...

Anchor Bay offered Romero 2.5 mill to make the movie but he had to decline, hopefully they'll be happy to co-finance the movie with another company (or two). There's a link to the original interview he did regarding Sep 11th here: http://www.shadows.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000860.html George's project a...

Scored the Malaysian bootleg DVD of this which, rumour has it, was sourced from a leaked New Line Academy Awards screener. As such the quality ain't half bad, well, as much as 3 hours on a single layer disc will allow. Its even got DD 5.1 but the mix sounds a bit off if you ask me. Best of all its g...

I don't think you could call them pan & scan as such. Morely likely, they're just unmatted fullscreen so there shouldn't be any missing information unless the source material or transfer itself were dubious. As I recall, Anchor Bay announced their DAWN 3-disc set back in '99. I thought they'd fo...

Kim Henkel and Tobe Hooper are writing the script (probably under the false impression that its actually gonna be used). No chosen director as of yet.

...the mind fucking boggles.
