I'm a a fan of the first film as well. the birthing sequence,is STILL effective. The visual effects are cheesy as hell,The makeup effects,adequate to very good.(the birthing)but I thought the script worked,despite the film's flaws.

It opened in the cinema right next to me. I won't even bother. Especially not with Versus,Devil's Backbone,From Hell,Pulse and Ichi the Killer at my local Film Festival. Soul Survivors most likely won't even merit a video rental.

This film was pretty good, for a teen slasher. I'd say we should wait for a more complete version. Or find out more about the Spanish version.

There's a sequal to this one. Battle Royale 2. It might premiere at the Toronto film festival this fall. If so,there might be a small theatrical release to follow,like the first.

Glad to hear it. It'll be at a film festival,near me in a month or two. So I'll check it out on a big screen first. Sooo fucking glad it isn't like his Phantom of The Opera film.

I agree. What happened to issue 12? I have about 9 issues all told. With the film's release,they should release the series as a very large graphic novel. Looking forward to the movie.
