After looking at those again, it doesn't look like he is concentrating so much as it looks like he is sweet talkin' the guitar. Caressing it's neck.. telling her she's the only one for him....

Maybe, if you can't move, you should do something interesting like paint yourself or show a slide show on your chest. :D ?

I thought Saw 2 was way more mean spirited than the first one, I really enjoyed it a lot! DITTO!! I dug it!! I am starting to wonder if reviewers even watch the movies they talk about...there were a bunch of gruesome scenes that I had read about that weren't actaully in the movie. Maybe they just g...

Yea, I don't think I have ever seen Carey Elwes do so terribly. I couldn't really tell though if it was his acting or the pathetic character.

The premise was good and it was entertaining, that's about all ask out of most mainstream horror movies.

It was a thinker though! It reminded me of Seven.. regardless of how you felt during the movie, you couldn't help thinking and talking about it.

Yes, it definitely depends on how you define "extreme". A lot of the films I have seen by Miike and others in his genre are very much more "extreme" than American films in regards to gore, violence, defamation, etc. Scary, no. Excessive, maybe, but I would call it extreme. I gues...

Japanese horror is the most extreme. Well, no, let me rephrase that. Japanese horror is kind of cheesy but Japanese action is pretty brutal. Try Takashi Miike, lots of gore and violence. If you do some snooping you can find fake snuff films too.... those crazy japanese!! :D

Yea, I know, all the reviews were good too... oh well. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood.

And maybe one ass shot was one too many for me, it seemed like too much though.

The gore was good.

When you see it, please let me know what you all thought. Honestly, I thought that it was a big steamy pile of shit. There was a handful of decent scenes, if that, some nice gore and a great part by William Hurt that was all too short, but that's about it. I was sorely dissapointed. Oh and guys, get...

Thats how they originally made South Park... VERY lengthy process though. That's cool to know, I will definitely check this one out, probably after Flight Plan though. ;)

You know, I loved Ichi and most of Takeshi Miike's stuff.. but sometimes it's too much for me.. give me gore and violence a plenty but I cannot handle the rape scenes... maybe that's just a cultural thing.

I enjoyed it as well. Wasn't really cramming either side down your throat. I'm torn on the whole PG-13 thing. On one side it's great to see scary movies rely on imagery and suspense rather than gore, swearing and breasts. Some of the most frightening movies as of late were PG-13. The bad side is you...
