Yowies are REAL! As real as bunyips! Sorry, I meant Cadbury Yowies. They were little chocolate monsters that came with a prize inside, often an animal that required assembly. Most of the time the animals were local to Australia and New Zealand, but they did have a animals of the world series, and an...

It might be a young roo.

It looks like the snake is a carpet python, but then fucking Yowies got discontinued, so I'm having trouble keeping my Australian animals straight now.

It's a Jim Wynorski, so it could be fun...or awful...or a bit of both. Never know with him.

I thought you might be interested as well.

Erm... maybe you read too much into the movie because I thought it was hella funny... I didn't think it was trying to make a statement or anything along those lines. I just thought it was fun... I didn't view it as a serious film, I just could not stand that kid at ALL, and thought he was horribly ...

I guess I'm missing something...I thought this was one of the worst movies I'd EVER seen. I can cope with the general stupidity (like spotting a woman's shoes across a room so crowded it can't even be walked across or that it would be freezing at Halloween, but people are running around scantily cla...

This sucks. I was getting all excited to finally be able to watch the films again, having avoided them since Episodes 1-3.

I didn't catch Ong Bak in the theater because I'd had it on DVD for a year and a half and movies cost like $15 here. But if you're looking for a DVD: The region 4 is a very good release. Two disc affair, both versions (French theatrical and Thai uncut) and documentaries, and demonstrations. The R2 H...

Buttafu-studios rules. I remember the time that I could've been a Beefkateer, but I was still eating, so waited for the second take. But then there was no second take. So I drank more of that wicked Everclear punch while my designated driver did shots of tequila. Those were the days...I miss the Bra...

Remo, I actually first read that the director DID the subs for the theatrical release to English speaking countries. Don't know if it's true or not. In which case, you make a very vaild point. I enjoyed MOST of the subs, because I felt the often conveyed the tone of what was being said in a way the ...

Weren't you the guy that loved Brotherhood of the Wolf? I understand they're different stylistically, but both films have a lot of the same flaws. Why did you prefer one of the other so much?

DDD House recommendations?

DDD house had a mix up, and I have the option of putting in a relatively large order. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations, since I've been out of the film loop for nearly a year. I think I'm right with kung fu, so looking for horror DVDs, preferably Chinese or Korean. I'd love to find ...

I saw it without hype and enjoyed it. I wouldn't say it will revolutionize the horror film, it's just very stylish (but part of that was the subs). Kinda like a Russian Volcano High, though not quite as visually extreme.
