"Constatine"?

Anyone planning on seeing this? The previews make it look like a goofy "Matrix" like horror flick. It looks kind of interesting but even the trailers make Keanu's perfomance look bad, which is an understatement.

There's a huge debate going on with the SUPERBIT thing. Some call it a gimmick while other's see a "mediocre" improvement, if anything. They basically take all the information they can store on a single DVD and use it for the film, which is why there are very little extras. I recently boug...

Question regarding BOOTLEGS

I recently bought a DVD off AMAZON MARKETPLACE from some guy who claims he sold me a legit copy of NAPOLEAN DYNAMITE. When I recieved it, it was clearly NOT from what I could see a legit release. The disc appeared to be stamped from one of those cheesy DVD gizmos and when looking carefully you could...

No sir, I didn't like it... I thought it started off great, then it just fell apart imo. It wasn't like watching Kairo where sure it doesn't make sense but the creepy images made it more like a nightmare if anything. Suicide Club made me feel as if I was watching two different movies and I had no c...

Wow! Nice relief to see that people share my same cheese-ball taste in music! I almost saw them last year when they were playing in A/C but it was last minute and the ticket price was a little steep (100 bucks I think).. I like the new album, finally some of their songs make sense. What the fuck was...

Well I wouldn't go that far, the gore in Zombie, Gates Of Hell, and The Beyond is as good as Haute Tension... He did do all those three right? I know he did Zombie and The Beyond... Anyway, its an awesome slasher film and I can't believe that Lion's Gate is releasing it NC-17 in the theatre!!! Can'...

How can you get a copy of August Underground? Curious to see it. I have to go with Kimberly on AFTERMATH, I don't think I've ever experienced a film as disturbing and shocking as that. That just stayed with me as soon as I finished watching it and I'm just as numb to this shit as anyone else. Any id...

Zero - When Rednecks Try To Make Art Films

Has anyone attempted on watching this piece of shit? 142 minutes of an asshole obsessed with porn, masturbating, making a fake woman out of a manniquine, having sex with a manniquin, talking to himself constantly, annoying visuals that literally look like strings of shit, ugly naked chicks, a huge d...

This movie kicked major fucking ass! My only complaint was that it really wasn't scary. It was one of them psychological thingys.. It was paced very well and the script was really tight. I do agree on many of those of commented on the acting, wasn't great but I can't say it was all that bad. That sc...

My little sister's apartment. Simply the safest place anyone on earth could possibly be if zombies strike... Why? 1) Her and her roommate are the two biggest slobs on the planet. We could easily hide under the piles of garbage and gunk within the realms of their little home. 2) My sister thinks she'...

I still havent had the chance to see this one although, I really want to. One thing I have to say is pretty damn stupid are the commercials for Saw. At the end they show the title and the announcer says "See Saw!". Good lord, and I usually get a kick out of stupid puns and funny associati...

BAISE MOI pissed me off. I guess I had high expectations for it since I heard so many things about it. Yeah it was interesting to meld HARDCORE SEX with what I suppose would be a "convential" revenge flick but it felt as if everything was forced. I sat there thinking "okay, I dare ya...

Okay ya there were a few subtitles but 99% of the film is in English. I admit I'm prejudice against Asian films. I'm just sick of the "Asian fever". Everyone has that bug it seems, and its annoying...So give me an Asian movie starring cheesy white people and I'm all over it! I AGREE! Glad...

Kind of a shame, movies that make tons of money like the remake of THE GRUDGE capture really big audiences. People in our community familuar with THE SAW seek out bootlegs because of release confusion and bad distribution. While LION'S GATE (in my opinion) has a great marketing team and a fairly ope...

It's quite sad really. Americans having to rely on other Countries for ideas. I haven't seen the remake and have no desire too. I didn't like the first one all that much to begin with though I admit it had some nice scares. The problem with American audiences is you HAVE TO explain everything to the...

Finally watched this last night (the R2 import) loved it! Thought it was "bloody" brilliant, clever and downright hiliriaous. I haven't any problems comparing this to BRAINDEAD, while BRAINDEAD did use it's humor, it depeneded way too much on the goo, which of course isnt a problem but SHAU...

Frankly I'm tired of these adapations because they are getting just that "tired". While I liked the style of Copolla's (fuck did I spell his name wrong?), I found it a little pretentious and also heard rumors that his nephew or cousin shot most of the flick. I like the little spins on the ...

The last good movie I can think of that John Waters has done is Serial Mom. I didn't care for Pecker (though it did have a funny moment here and there) and I really disliked Cecil B. Demented... A Dirty Shame was horrible, I liked it better then Cecil (but that's not saying much). It has a funny pa...

Yeah so I bought METROPOLIS...

I also picked up the 80's version on e-bay.. Some dude had it on DVD-R for 10.95..

As for the "great hockey masked one", my personal favorite is Part VI preceeded by 1,2,4 and a little of 3, though it kind of bores me..

I guess I'm skipping it.

So I saw this piece of shit yesterday, it agitates me just writing about it. Essentially, it was a fairly well written script (despite the dialouge) and with the assumption with a better cast and a decent pace it might have worked but it's agnozingly obvious references to other films made me squirm....

Malevolence

Probably spelled that wrong.. I'm supposed to be seeing this tomorrow, it's screening at two small theatres. The site has a nice set up and I like the gimmicky audition reaction stuff..

Anybody hear anything about this?

(do a google search for the site)
