It had better have some good extras on it as I am pretty satisfied with the Canadian DVD I got a while back. Sure the quality isn't that great but it was a budget flick shot on 16mm http://www.shadows.com/ubb/smile.gif ------------------ "Regrettable... I was hoping for a colleague, but at leas...

Someone will correct me if I am wrong but I believe the hopping vampire dates way back in Chinese mythology. Perhaps Ricky Lau brought it to the screen for the first time? ------------------ "Regrettable... I was hoping for a colleague, but at least we have another experimental subject..."...

Funny this should come up, I pulled out my Xtro laserdisk the other day so my girlfriend could watch it with me. That birthing sequence still works for me http://www.shadows.com/ubb/smile.gif Wasn't Jan Michael Vincent in one of the sequels? I've seen both of them but don't remember much about them ...

My LE copy of Opera locks up my Apex 600a during chapter 15 and hard locks my PC (Asus DVD-ROM E608) using any software DVD player or the Hollywood Plus hardware decoder just from trying to start it. Under Windows XP RTM (I dual boot) it just crashes the decoder. Granted I have had some problems wit...

Get those Kangaroo cocks ready! I'll keep it short and bitter. While there are some good "creature" makeup and a couple of tasty KNB gore effects, "Ghosts of Mars" is at best a rental flick. It did have a few good moments but the overall experience just didn't cut it for me. You'...

Although the animal rights stuff was laid on a little thick for my liking I really enjoyed the film. Sure it wasn't particularly heady and (as Remo stated) the characters weren't too memorable but it was a fun flick. Catch it at a bargain matinee, it's well worth the 4 bucks http://www.shadows.com/u...

Caught this tonight and thought it was pretty darn good although it seemed to run a little too long to me. Nothing really shocking to my jaded senses but there was some decent violence as well as some good laughs. The acting was good, especially Beat Takeshi as a teacher. Check this out if it plays ...

Ed Gein: The Movie

I just got done checking out the web site for this one and it looks like it could be a cool movie. Steve Railsback plays Ed, which in my opinion was a good choice. Does anyone know if this sucker's gotten any US distribution yet or if it's doomed to a straight to video release? For a trailer, info a...
