Tonight's drinking game

Well, before the Great Depression happened last week, I was looking forward to tonight's Presidential Debate to drink a shot of whiskey every time McCain spoke the words "Nine Eleven" and "Terror".

But that was before every financial institution took a big shit on themselves, trickling down all over us.

So, I'm wondering what key words I should drink on?

Don't be bummed Carrie... This is gonna suck, but in the long run it's going to be good for the country. We can't base our entire financial system on fraud.

The fed has no jurisdiction over Bank Of Under Jonathan's Mattress.

You mean "It sure feels nice to not have any DEBT" Nobody really offers "credit" cards.

Agreed. It was going to happen sooner or later, and the longer we waited just meant the harder we'd fall.

Which is why the bailout is such bullshit. It's not going to stop a damn thing but it might extend the pain a *little* bit longer.

I know a lot of people feel like their voice means nothing, but if you have some free time I urge you to call, email or fax your senators and representative about this matter. By some reports sentiment is running above 90% against the bailout and every rant against it counts. It's your country too. At least in theory.

If you do, I will borrow against your savings (like a real bank), invest it into new guitar gear and hope to shit that I make money from my playing so that I can insure that your savings gets returned and I make some sort of profit....

If that doesn't pan out, maybe I can get a piece of that $700,000,000,000.00 bailout (drink).

christ that's a lot of zeros..

Yes, but what about all the money in our 401(k)s and our home values? I'm wondering where the FDIC gets its money. If I cash out everything, will my $100 U. S. bills be worth anything? Should I get gold? Haha, a person could go crazy thinking about this.

The end of the world is coming. I'll invest in food, weapons and water. Maybe I should pack it in Montana-militia style.

In the meantime, I'm going to keep drinking and seeing rock shows. ;)

apparently "street" would have been a good word. I've already heard it like 15 times.

Is it me or is McCain's eyes blinking like an alien from MIB?

And his voice is eerily similar to Reagan. . . .

The drinking game should have been centered around McCain saying "Senator Obama doesn't understand", or some combination of those words similarly... just as long as the words "doesn't understand".

It was a good debate. I think both of them did nothing to hurt themselves, but neither of them ran away with it.

Did anybody notice that McCain whistles his s's?

I've been thinking for a while 401Ks in T-bills and cash in the mattress. Right now I'm 100% short in the market... It's fucked what they've done, but I think you're on the right track with guns and water.

Gold is no guarantee... In the 30s the government seized it and made it illegal to own. Do you think they will hesitate to do it again?

It's crap... I hope we're all OK.

But on the upside rock and roll and liquor are always a good bet!

Yeah, the tone and the essses, that was a huge flashback.

I chose not to drink. I kinda wanted to hear what they had to say. I'm sad to note that, regardless of who wins, I will have less comedic material from our next president, however. Neither of them strageried nuthin! I am a little surprised that McCain never actually said, "Why, when I was your age" given the tone of pretty much every other comment he made.

Oh, yeah, and one more thing: "Energy Independence!" *ducks and runs*

(Sorry, I had to!)

Can't stand either of 'em.... John's voice is just too much to listen too...oozing with political retoric, he IS a freakin alien....my first thought into the first 30 seconds...."are we being taken over by aliens?!?"

Goddammit.

I couldn't stand it when Mc burger started talking about the bullshit, BULLSHIT in Iraq and Pakistan.

Russia would have snooker'd me.
