Ron and I want to take the kids and get a nicer hotel room downtown with a balcony and a view of the Space Nedle for New Year's Eve.
I've tried searches on the internet, but can't get an answer, just a bunch of travel spam. Don't really want to walk around thousands of people at Seattle Center, we just want a room with an awesome balcony view of the Space Needle fireworks.
Is there such a thing?

Sorry to burst your bubble but the motels that are down by the needle don't have balcony's. I was just down in that area last night. They do have big windows thoughMetalGoddess wrote:Ron and I want to take the kids and get a nicer hotel room downtown with a balcony and a view of the Space Nedle for New Year's Eve.

I think the Warrick might but that's down on 4th
Just curious, why would you come into town on New Years Eve to be holed up in a room when everyone is out partyin in the streets????? Love ya girl
the travel lodge, best western are the two main motels in the area I beleive the each have two. They are by the funhouse. There used to be a hotel called the Tropics that has an indoor pool but I don't think thats the name anymore. I should be in that area again tonight and I can double check if you'd like

I hate fighting the crowds! Plus we'll have the kids with us. Looking at the Westin now. The upper floors have an awesome view. It's a bit pricey, but it might be the ticket.metalgrrl wrote:Just curious, why would you come into town on New Years Eve to be holed up in a room when everyone is out partyin in the streets????? There's a motel by the needle that has a 26 item breakfast buffet. I can get you that name if food a factor. There's a Hilton residents suite hotel on western that might have balcony's or rooms with a view of the needle I do know they face elliott bay. I also knowe they have a cocktail recepection every evening and a continantal breakfast as well.
hey something else you might wanna check out if you stay in the city, at the Pacific Place is snows everynight with this great show and it's free, there's also ice skating at seattle center and they have a huge winterfest goin on

It might be pretty hard to find what you're looking for. They might all be booked.
