One of the revolutionaries. When I was a kid, she was the epitomy of female beauty. Had a couple of the original pinup posters from WW2.

I heard that this morning on the news. I didn't even realize she was still alive....

I never understood what was so attractive about her... good looking, yes, but I've never understood the obsession. I've always hated that short bangs hairstyle, though.

In my opinion, she was always the epitome of what a woman's body was supposed to look like. Curvy in all the right places.

I've been an admirer of her's for quite some time and was certainly bummed when I learned of her passing right before I went to bed last night. While she was lusted after by so many she was also an icon for woman's liberation. Life didn't always treat Bettie well but she always pushed on with her head held high and came out shining like a diamond.

I wore one of my Bettie shirts to the training center for school today in tribute. My instructor was quite impressed to learn that I was such a fan. At the same time, I was was sort of shocked when I found out that the rest of the guys in my class didn't even know who she was.
