I can work from home and did today, but I have to head north again on Sunday. . . when it's suppose to start snowing majorly again.

Gonna get chains put on my tires, just need a decent time to hit the road and get to my parents for my dad to do it.

update from Monroe: It's STILL snowing..we are looking at about a foot right now and levels are climbing. It hasn't stopped snowing all day! WOO HOO.. so here's a few pics from our walk around town today.

I just hope you guys get all this snow and cold shit out of the way before I get out there. I've already had more than my fill this season and we're supposed to get slammed again with a blizzard tonight. Predicted snowfall: 8 to 13 inches. In addition they're calling for "lake effect snow" after the storm has passed. I live 3 blocks from Lake Michigan.

Well thanks to this beautiful weather tomorrow is day #3 of school being canceled which means we started our x-mas break early. That makes it a 3 week break from driving the little heathens to and from school.

Now I shall open the nut brown ale that I have been saving for break and partake in a little holiday cheer.

Spent the day at work. We decided to shut down for the day at 4:00 after getting about 3 inches of snow in 30 minutes (in Lakewood). So I headed for home, in Renton...it took almost an hour and a half just to get to the Tacoma Dome. Finally got home at 6:15. I'm fairly sure I'm not going in, tomorrow.
