Do it Frank.

Bandito parties are INSANE!!!

Just don't cross any lines.

Just like any of the other "clubs", just pay attention to the 2% patch. :)

You must be nervous about it, so you are asking, I take that as a bad sign. I wouldn't do anything that has the potential of turning bad. If you have no clue about the house or the owner, that's not good. All gang members seem like real people, because they are. Just remember you are doing business with a gang.

Shit, MAN! Even the Blues Brothers played in some "questionable" venues! Sack up, play the gig and bro down with the Banditos! Word of mouth might even land you some sweeter gigs after the fact.

NEVER miss an opportunity to display your craft!

In the spirit of Johnny Cash, I say go for it. Play outlaw country for outlaws. If that ain't a tribute to Cash, I don't know what is.

I used to play for crowds of Banditos and MANY Gypsy Jokers over at the old cloud nine. Their women are awesome and the guys could not be nicer! Never had any problems and you get paid better than most places. Do the show. Just enjoy yourself and you will live through it.

Foofy drinks? I've always thought that ice and mixers were places where alcohol should be, but isn't.

Ahhh the cloud nine. . .yes now that was a nifty lil juke joint and yes many of the Gypsy Jokers were hella cool too.

Frank, just realize they invited you cuz obviously they were digging on something you do so why not share it. . . just mind your Ps and Qs and you should be fine. :)

If you do decide to it, let us know how it turns out.

Frank... you're not really known for being a "shit-starter", anyway. What the fuck are you worried about? They like your shit, and have invited you into their world to share it with them. ENJOY yourself, for fuck's sake!

I was asking because I needed to inform myself of a situation that I might be getting in. From the sounds of it, I should do it but be extra cautious.

Dude, I've grew up in a biker family & spent years playing in biker bars. Do the gig because it will be a blast. Trust me.

Don't you mean 1%er patch?
They are a club, not a gang. Be careful who you say that to, people tend to take offense to it.
All the stigma aside, people are people. And bike "CLUBS" are clubs. A 1%er club really isn't a whole lot different than an ABATE club or a stunt club, they are just more targeted by the government.
Sure you're gonna get your mix of good and bad, but what bar have you ever gone to and not had that?
I could get real in depth with this, but I won't.

Frank, you don't know me from Adam, but like someone else has already said, you were asked to play, just like any other group of people that would ask you to play for them, take it as an honor and do it.
These are guys with jobs, families, and friends just like the rest of us. The difference is their "families" are a whole lot bigger. :D

Play the show, have fun!

I would pass on the cosmos though, you'd probably do better with whiskey or beer.

I'm with Hodge. Time to actually have a pair and just fucking do it.

Even though, I don't recall Johnny Cash having to actually performe for private Biker parties. LOL

Still do it.

My brother rides with a chapter in Texas. I've met some of them. Just use your head and don't be a dick. You'll be fine.
It's not the numbers of strings you play that counts....It's the GIRTH.

Bass players make the booty wiggle and the titties giggle.
