Agreed. I've loved all of his other books. This one just isn't as good as his previous books.

Yeay!

I'm so excited for this Tuesday, Nov. 10 that my ovaries are exploding. Again!

I'm gonna feel just like Angelina Jolie since I'll finally be getting my babies in the mail (my two signed, limited edition Stephen King books!!!) and I just discovered that on the same day, George Carlin's biography that he was working on right before he died is finally out as well!

Oh man... I should have taken a few days off from work just to read! :metalhead

I got sucked into the Twilight books, now I am addicted. Great way to just relax and not really think about anything. . . .read about 900 pages in 3-4 days.

Also still reading Bernard Beckwith's Spiritual Liberation: Fulfilling Your Soul's Potential

Good reads.

Deathboy, you will not regret reading WWZ.

I just got a boner as well cuz I just found out that another Darth Bane book just came out. Tomorrow is payday, so I guess a trip to the bookstore is about to happen tomorrow.

I just finished it tonight too.
'Constipated Christ!' is going down as one of my new favorite expelatives. Thank you, Ketchum! :D

I also just read these and after the far and few issues these days of Lobo, let alone my utmost and very, very long awaited curiosity at Scott Ian swilling himself some Rot Gut and taking up a pen, I'm dissappointed to say... I'm really fucking dissappointed!

Scott seemed to have written the first issue as if no one had ever read Lobo before and the Main Man just should NOT be dumbed down with a bunch of lame pop-culture catch phrases. Shitty writing, shitty artwork. Just seemed underinspired to me which sucks since I thought as a fanboy, he'd do a much better job.
Geez! I'd even probally forgive it if The Biz had at least done the art. Hell, when Simon works him over, almost no dialog is even needed. The proper body language is... already there. Big, brooding, violent, sexy and has a thing for redheads. What's a girl not to love?

*sigh*

*kicks dirt and grumbles about being in love with 2-D characters'*

~ Blondo or Irondick? Have you guys check these out? What'd you think? (I did laugh my ass off at the party hat and Satan as a lil' girl. Now that was Lobo!)

I was disappointed too. I like Sam Keith and I was alright with his work in these books, but it is very hard to live up to the Biz. I did feel like the story and the dialogue could have been written by anyone. It actually made me feel like I should write a Lobo fanfic, 'cause I can do at least gooder than that.

Now I think Nick Cage should play Scott Ian in the A&E Lobo biography.
