Actually, its a great idea, long past overdue.

The only entities that have been taking any benefits from the ag subsidies are the giant corporations like Monsanto and ConAgra and ADM. The system was so loosely set up that it ended up helping those companies swindle the family farmer out of his property.

Agricultral Subsidies, originally set up to help the small family farmers with overhead costs and level out commodities prices, have ended up becoming a gigantic welfare handout to the largest companies. They have huge amounts of raw cash available already, and then they manipulate the commodoties markets with phony shortages or massive buyouts of commodoties like wheat and corn, then use those manipulations to totally scam the small farmers out of their land, then buy them out at pennies on the dollar. As those lands were already slated for subsidy price supports, those subsidies went to the corporations that bought the land. And they didn't even have to grow anything on it to get the money.

It was a totally vicious and self fulfilling circle of doom for the small farmer. ADM, Monsanto and ConAgra were raking in almost $200 billion between them every year. Free cash, paid by the taxpayer, to help them leverage small farmers out of their land, so they can buy more and get more subsidy cash handouts. Then they do shit like patent strains of genetically engineered grains and such, then use those patents to rob farmers of their crops and drive them into bankruptcy.

It turned into the biggest land scam there ever was. Corporations should never be allowed any taxpayer handouts for support. Thats what the stock market is supposed to be for. If they can't survive without government welfare, they should just die. Thats what a free market is supposed to be.

Lets let Wall Street eat shit for a while. They fucking deserve it.

If anyone truley believes that any of those people in any of those bailout debacles deserves a fucking thing, you seriously have mental problems!!
