Workplace massacres

Post by DeathFrogg » Fri Mar 13, 2009 1:23 pm

A pretty good article on that guy in Alabama a couple weeks ago. This goes to what I've been bitching about over the last 25 years, the executives slash hours and benefits and tweak their internal buisiness systems to fuck the workers even more to increase their personal income, then shit like this happens and everyone just shakes their heads and wonders why and how this sort of thing can keep happening. It happens when someone who is already probably emotionally unstable is pushed too far and has had enough of the bullshit.

Everyone has their limits, but most folks just try to keep on keepin on with their lives and don't do this sort of thing. But there is only so much stress a man can take. This article spells out what has been happening since Reagan The Second Coming became president. He changed laws and rules to make this sort of financial rape by top executives easier. Every President since has only re-enforced this attitude; If you aint one of the Big People, you're just a peon piece of shit who can be sacrificed for their mistakes and greed.

Then the millionaires all go on TV and whine about "class warfare" and "socialism" when someone tries to change this.

Crazy world.

No doubt. Stalin felt the same way you did and killed over 30 million of his own people in an attempt to get his way. Hitler was frustrated with J e w ish bankers, etc - another 6 million, then there was Mao in China, etc etc etc

The use of force and murder has always been the tools of your kind. Since the dawn of time and even now.

Your thread is a blank check and the moral justification (in your own mind) of all the murders throughout the history of mankind, that after convincing the masses they would be better off, starting killing people.............millions and millions.

It's really sick and twisted at the end of the day and the help you need is probably not avaialbe, or it would take a team of pschiatrists at least a decade to get inside your sick little mind and try to help you.

Godd luck.

A tragically flawed, twisted and sick ideology that requires the use of brute force and state oppression to get it's way..............deaths in the tens of millions and all in the name of "brotherhood" or an unattainable ideal like communism, and it always starts with the barrel of a gun.........

I'm sorry, but I do not want ANY job enough to get mad and start killing people in the event I lost it.

And deathfrogg.........you are a sick little boy that has spent his life wishing for what you should just go out and work for - you posses an inherent envy that is beyond obvious of anyone in society that might have more than you, and a class hatred that would have made Marx and Lenin proud.

I think he is refering to the fact that df doesn't really work for what he has wanted in life, but instead is angry that he didn't get it for free. He is now supporting this workplace killing spree because he sees the more successful as oppressors that are keeping him down, and that getting killed at work is due justice. Oph was comparing this thinking to hitler and stalin, I do understand his theory, yet I am not fully behind it, and here is why: See Hilter and stalin both where leaders and took action in their lives. I do not know df at all, but a while ago he mentioned that he has worked at the same job for 15 years and NEVER recieved a raise. Now that to me is the most insane thing I have ever heard. That is the exact OPPOSITE of hitler or stalin. I think the "slacker" is a new concept to life, and there is nothing in history to compare it to. Either way, I am beginning to think that they had it right the whole time. The american dream is over bitches.

The "slacker" concept is perfect for the B-Rock Obama!!! and his supporters. Why pay your bills when you can get bailed out?? Go ahead and start a bashing away DF, look at all the Bildebergers and lobbyists in this prick's cabinet, look at what this fucker has done in less than 2 months. Holy fucking shit, and to use your term " keep drinking the koolaid" Obama is the same as the last umpteen presidents this cuntry has had, there is no change, except for letting the Fed take even more.

Everytime I did something that someone didn't like, they damaged my car.

It's the strangest thing. First the keying of the car. Then the trash thrown into the window. Then my back window gets mysteriously busted out.

So I got a new car.

My point? If workers get screwed by their job, they should get another job. The one's that end up killing people at work, chances are they're already mentally fucked and somewhere down the line in their lives, something else would've trigger them to kill.

Look out for yourself. No one owes you anything. If you're not getting what you want, you must do everything in your power to get it. My mom was a single mother of three. Worked two jobs. Never had a moment for herself for decades. Sacrifice is something that we just don't do anymore.

So, your job lays you off, or treats you unfair. Sacrifice and work hard at getting where you want to be, whether it's a new job, a second job, etc. Don't go offing people...
Take a picture, trick. I'm on a boat, bitch.

These threads posted by deathfrogg are the end result of a personality disorder he sufferes from (NPD - narcissistic personality disorder) which has it's roots in one of his symptoms: pathological envy. Hatred of anyone that has more than he does and then the endless rationalization and reasons why (in his own mind) they do not deserve it - and in this case, need to be murdered.

NPD takes form in early childhood as the result of unresolved issues from lack of self esteem, not getting emotional needs met, and a refusual to grow up. Those suffering from his disorder are prone to pathological envy - hatred of anything they do not have combined with a desire for it, in the absence of ever working for it. The cycle is complete with his endless clinging (like a child) to flawed and failed ideologies like socialism, communism, statism and now he is advocating outright murder and he is attempting to justify it (much like a child would).

Lost in a sea of his own misery and inadequacy, and pathetic nonsense, he has resorted to blaming the world for anything he does not have - advocating it be taken from others and the use of force be employed if needed. It is the inner, wounded child inside of him screaming out - give me, give me, give me!! I want, want, want!!! Narcissists are delusional by nature, impossible to change and go through life angry, bitter and lost in a world they are unable to deal with. Blaming the "evil" business owners, "rich" people and those that have achieved all he has ever wanted but lacks the resolve, tenacity and drive to attain.

With the mentality of a five year old in the midst of a temper tantrum, he unleashes his threads devoid of any focus, philisophical foundation or reason. He relies only on what he feels and screams maniacally to be given with no thought of the cause or effect required for him to have it.

He fits all the DSM IV diagnostic criteria for NPD along with borderline personality disorder and a cute, little way of tying in Marx and Lenin doctrine in with his prose. Sad, yeah. Pathetic, definetely. Something we have to worry about...........not unless you are his employer and decide to let him go. If you ever find yourself employing him, I suggest wearing a bullet proff vest and having security on hand the day you fire him.

His defense of murder as a response to losing a job is an idealogical blank check to unleash whatever child like, unrestrained feelings you have on your employer, society and the world. It's page 142 out of the great book men like Mao, Stalin, Lenin, Pol Pot and many others perpetuated their atrocities and reigns. Brute force - the only weapon of the socialist when up against reason and logic. His recipe for the world would lead us into the dark ages and a de-evolution of mankind.................which is exactly what he wants. His inability to rise to the level he dreams of being at, results in his desire to see the world brought down to his level.

This is my final post for the day. I'm taking off for Cabo tomorrow to spend my hard earned money I have earned working hard and sacrificing within this current state facist system, and will be lying on a beach with an over sexed United Airlines flight attendant until Monday. If deathfrogg can put down the Oreos, Pepsi, chips and Xbox360 long enough to respond, I will be more than happy to follow up when I am back.

You sure you got that description right?...
Wikipedia wrote:Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a personality disorder defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, the diagnostic classification system used in the United States, as "a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and a lack of empathy."

The narcissist is described as turning inward for gratification rather than depending on others and as being excessively preoccupied with issues of personal adequacy, power and prestige. Narcissistic personality disorder is closely linked to self-centeredness.

WOW.

This isn't the same person I know. The one I have hung out with in public, whom has selflessly helped with different mortal tasks in life with me and friends.

Do you ever hang out with him? I haven't met you, or even heard of him speak of you.

Quite a mouthful of negative vibes going on there. I don't know you, but I do know frog...and he's never been so negative with emotions, facts can be depressing.

He had never spoken of hurting anyone, let alone given any indications of a serious condition which might raise flags.

So, I think you misunderstood something in his post, and as far as internet diagnosis, slander is a fine line.

Oph, I would peg you for a Cluster B Personality Disorder before I'd peg DF for one, and I have to share, I've known several. And, that said, of course someone of your sophisitcation and knowledge must know that armchair psychology of the type you're attempting to practice here is both stupid and dangerous. Layoff or don't -- I don't much care either way -- but you're beginning to sound like my ex with better grammar. Just sayin'...

Because, as children, we cannot understand what they have to deal with or what they are up against. The life experience just isn't there.

The point I was trying to make with the OP is that there are some seriously disporportionate levels of income in the world today and people see this.

That allowing executives to sit on the boards of multiple corporations, making tens of millions or even hundreds of millions of dollars in a year, while fucking over their employees for raises and benefits is going to have consequences, right or wrong. When one has an unstable personality, and/or a predisposition toward violence, one might be inclined to "go postal" as it were. The weaker the position of a person in the world, the more visceral the reaction to perceived offense. Take away a persons livelihood, you take away his or her ability to feed themself. Take away that ability, and very primitive instincts take over.

THAT, is the very basis and deepest core of offense. Ask any one of the First Nations people. They didn't just roll over and pee on themselves, they fought tooth and nail for 400 years to keep what they saw as the basis of their livelihood. They only lost because of technology and the total ruthlessness of the invader, not from any "moral superiority".

It seems to me, that since Ronny Rayguns was president, that the wealthiest individuals have been allowed to run roughshod over the workers that actually produce the effort that makes them the money they enjoy so much. Since Raygun became president, the system has been rigged to allow the people who already have massive, immeasurable levels of money wealth almost institutionally inclined to rob, cheat, steal, murder and destroy in their quest for more money wealth. It is the foundation of their social power, and they are quite well aware of that. Make people struggle to just feed and clothe and shelter themselves, and you can extract an ever increasing share of THEIR wealth for yourself by merely threatening to take that away, and insuring your ability to actually do so.

They rig the systems to guarantee for themselves, that the nebishes in their factories and offices are required to take on debt from them just to survive. Example: the banks going to the State Legislatures and lobbying for a change in the law that allowed credit cards to be used for perishable goods, specifically food in grocery stores. Thus, the Banks have created a new method of slavery. Prices go UP with the availability of money. So people who actually do pay cash for their food, are almost immiediatly priced out of the market. This works for everything that money-based transactions facilitate.

The same organizations that own the banking and credit systems, are the same organizations that manufacture automobiles, produce food, build houses and sell them, apartment buildings, and then rent them out. It is all the same people and corporations working both ends against the middle, who is US. And for far too long now, they have been aided and abetted by the people and institutions of Government.

If you want to buy a house or land, unless you are already a multimillionare, you must go into debt. If you want to buy a car, you must go into debt. If you need to put a new roof on that house or transmission on that car, you must go into debt. Simply because paying actual cash for such things has become impossible to do at the rate of an average worker bees wages. A millionare in the SF Bay area, is a man with two 15 year old cars and a 40 year old house that needs a new roof.

What has been the housing market over the last 25 years, building half-million dollar condominiums, and 3500+ square foot houses, or decent apartments and 1800 square foot houses? What have automobile manufacturers been building, Hummers, Escalades and High performance cars or basic trucks and grocery-getters?

Which would be more affordable to the average schmuck on the street who has an honest job?

We have, as a culture, substituted the idea of money wealth for actual personal wealth. That personal power is only derived from the ability to gather and hoard money. No matter what one has, it isn't ever quite enough. It is wholly artificial. Institutionalize this concept with the poor folks as much as the wealthy folks, and you have what you have now in people like Bernie Madoff, the AIG, Enron and oil company executives. It is reflected in the slums with the black markets in drugs and weapons. It manifests itself in the public eye when some psychotic asshole steps into a restaurant, school or his workplace and opens fire with an automatic weapon.

Just because the government considers something legal does not make it moral, decent or socially acceptable. That idea can go either way. Extreme selfishness and greed are failures of morality. They are failures of the greater social construct. This is why Bernie Madoff and so may others are in or are going to prison. You do NOT have the right to take everything away from everbody for yourself. You do NOT have the right to steal from your investors. You do NOT have the right to manipulate laws or bribe public officials to facilitate your greed or lust for social influence and control over others.

Individual peoples reactions are going to wildly vary according to their instincts, right or wrong. Incidents like the one in the OP and others, don't even make the front page anymore, because they have become so common.

I fear that this is becoming more so. Without Justice manifested in the absolute rule of law, there is no free market or liberty, only anarchy.

Hey Frogg,

There are still ways to fight back. I used to feel hopeless in the face of a society that forces everyone to take on these crushing levels of debt but not any more.

If housing prices make you sick (and they do me more than most) then fuck it. Don't buy one. Rent. It's cheaper and it denies the banks the vig they suck off your mortgage. Have any of you who carry a mortgage ever looked at the amortization table? Jesus. What a ripoff.

Don't want to get into debt for a new car? Drive a piece of shit. Cars are transportation, nothing more and nothing less. I played the new car game and I can assure you I will NEVER drive anything I didn't pay cash for again. It just pays for the guys sucking that juice off of your note.

Don't want to support the bullshit happening on Wall st.? I don't. I closed my account at BoA and refuse to do business with any bank that took TARP money. Fuck those leeches.

I admit I am still forced to pay income tax, but I feel much better after not giving the banksters my hard earned cash voluntarily. Imagine a world where EVERYONE did this! They'd be slinging burgers at BK in no time!

Seriously, this mindset has been the most liberating thing I've ever experienced. I can actually SAVE my cash and refuse to play their game. When the whole bloated mess tips over they can kiss my ass on the way down to Bartertown.

And just cuz we're on the tail end of an Ophidian drive-by I just wanted to include this great comment I saw on another forum. The discussion was Ayn Rand and the Objectivist cult.
&quot wrote:
Objectivists are producers.

They produce a shitload of anonymous Randian loudmouths.

They produce words. Lots and lots of words and blather. Apparently they get paid by the word.

And rules. They produce an endless stream of rules on how to conform to all the words.

And rules watchers.

And words from the rules watchers who never tire of looking for non-conformists who never quite seem to have had enough words from the watchers and the rules enforcers.

They are flipped up-side down Marxist demanders demanding that you never stray from the design of the words and rules they've produced for you.

They produced the language reductivism which labels all other words which go against their words as being just simply "bad". Or better yet, just "ungood". Or "double-plus ungood". They want to own your thoughts. They are ceasless and tireless in their pursuit of your thoughts.

They are your producers giving you a product with no utility. Just words.

As it's somewhat germane to the broader topic, here's a Rolling Stone article that has a pretty decent timeline of the AIG meltdown and how things played out. Reasonably factual and a lot less "manifesto-y" than a lot of the comments that regularly appear on this forum :)

Absolutely... Even at a "Good" interest rate, you will pay more than double the home price with an ever-so-popular 30 year loan.

I just refinanced my house (Got a 4.5% rate), and moved to a 15 year loan. We'll be saving well over $100,000 as a result. I think taking out a loan isn't always bad. I just think a person shouldn't be suckered into lengthy loan terms, or outrageous rates. Now that we're almost entirely out of non-mortgage debt, I find it a lot easier to just save up money to buy what we need. We just bought a 3 year old car last summer with cash, and it feels fucking great to not have paid one penny of interest on it. Bottom line... Don't use loans as a way to spend outside of your means.

I think this is the first thread that I equally agree with everyone. This is amazing.

1. I agree with DF almost all that he is saying, plus I think we could use a few MORE workplace shooting to really get this thing ramped up.

2. I agree with Oph that DF is a nut

3. I agree with dereck about the slackers

4 I agree with everyone else that you shoulnd't live behyond your means and if you don't like it, don't support it...Or I will throw this out there that you could also LEARN how to play the game and live that way as well. Tons of options out there, but right now our cuntry is in the dumps so no use in doing anything for a while.

Everyone should take the time to read this. I think the public perception of the AIG mess is that they are an insurance company that fell on hard times. Bullshit. They were a fucking casino operator that levered themselves up in a way that no sane institution ever would have considered. Sad that it's Rolling Fucking Stone that is the only print rag to really lay it out the way it should have been three years ago.
