I had to take 9 months off last year after having a grand mal seizure. The neurologist told me not to get on any ladders, swim or do anything extreme as a precaution although I had never had a seizure before. I had another EEG two months ago and some other tests and I'm looking really good for 2009.
Not sure if I updated you guys in 08, but I had a near fatal grand mal seizure after having a severe sinus infection(ethmoid sinusitis) for two weeks and only being able to get amoxicillin from my doctor and it barely worked, I secured some high grade antibiotic (Levafloxicin) from a solid source that can get me prescriptions for stuff and I got it filled at Walgreens. Anyway, I screwed up and took three times the amount someone should take and collapsed within an hour of taking it and had a seizure. It was weird, I woke up after losing bladder control and turning blue in the back of an ambulance with an oxygen mask on and they told me I almost died - and that is like the fifth time I have almost died in my life, so I've got about four more punches to go on my card.
Anyway, back in the game 2009, kickin' ass on the wild side - Ophidian style and I'm going to a rock climbing boot camp this summer to add another way of potentially killing myself to the long list of endorphine and adrenaline induced activities that make Ophidian, the one and only legendary kick ass mofo that I am.
