If you want to save polar bears you should have the videographers give them some food instead of just filming them die. Yeah, awesome content for the nature film Earth that I took my daughter to recently.

I think that the intent of the Endangered Species Act is to keep people from actively killing endangered animals and from actively destroying their local habitat. Don't club them on the head when you see them and don't build a parking lot or a McMansion on their home. I think the idea of trying to use the ESA to force a reduction in the US production of greenhouse gases is beyond the scope of that act. Sure, it is a good goal but it is not what the ESA is intended for. When did we get so hopelessly detached from the concept of common sense that we can no longer understand the intent of a thing?

I'm more disturbed by all this talk of male nakedness and the longing to be together with each other in your state of make nakedness than I could EVER be by the plight of the polar bear. Not sure why...
