"Enth E Nd"

One thing, I don’t know why
It doesn’t even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme when I was obsessed with time
All I know, time was just slipping away
And I watched it count down to the end of the day
Watched it watch me and the words that I say
The echo of the clock rhythm in my veins
I know that I didn’t look out below
And I watched the time go right out the window
Tried to grab hold
Tried not to watch
I wasted it all on the hands of the clock
But in the end, no matter what I pretend
The journey is more important than the end or the start
And what it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard

I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter

Hey, yo
One thing, I don’t know why
It doesn’t even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme to explain in due time
All I know, hah, I so-socialse
Like the host of the party
I spoke, shaked, and made eye-contact
Partied and toasted strong, all that
Northeast, Southwest coast
I’m staring out the window
No oppourtunity to mingle
I tried to sew it up to weaken your system
I had you throwing up
I brought you back into things
Like the imaginary man of your dreams
You’d always seem to make it worth it
I pig-skin, I never nerf it
You felt like loving, never played real
I’m bringing the pleasure
By any means it means I’m leaving your team
Hell of a team, man it seems I tried so hard

I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter

One thing, I don’t know how
It doesn’t even matter when you look at it now
’Cause when I designed this rhyme
I was scared of it all, scared to fall, and I hadn’t even tried to crawl
But I was forced to run with you mocking me, stopping me, backstabbing me constantly
Remembering all the times you fought with me
Watch the clock now chock-full of hipocrisy
But now your mouth wishes it could inhale
Every single little thing you said to make things fail
Every single word you sputtered just to get your piece
But it really doesn’t matter to me
’Cause from the start to the end, no matter what I pretend
The journey is more important than the end or the start
And what it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard

I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter

In the end

Sorry, Erin. I have to disagree. In addition to being way overplayed on the radio, Linkin Park is

GAY!!!

KBPI in Denver did a twisted tune to that song, only used NHL Colorado Avalanche wording during the playoffs a couple years ago. Jonathan would appreciate it. I wish they had a link I could send him.

One of my favorite bands!! And yes I get shit for it, but fuck it!

Seen them about half a dozen times!

Met the guys a couple of times, talked to Chester for a bit, he was really nice, actually all of them were. Use to be on their Seattle Street Team.

I like the fact that every member in that band put something out there to make the band a whole. Mr. Hahn produces the videos, Mike does the graphics and logos you see on most of their merch.

And you all can talk shit, but hey they made it. . .

So what I am a dork, that's nothing new!!

Ditto. I respect them because they're all talented in many ways, and they put their talent to work, instead of sitting around and letting someone else to it for them. And, they're precious. ;)

I like them. The vocal stylings have grown repetitive. This is another band that I think could successfully sell instrumentals. Mr. Hahn is the shit.

I think the song writting sux ass!!! However, I did see them on some late night show recently and they where prety tight, the music still sucked the dick, but the band was definatly well rehersed. That being said, if they never released another record, I for one would not loose any sleep about it.

I liked the first record. With Disturbed and Mudvayne, it was good to see some rock in the mainstream. I saw them at Ozzfest with the other nu metallers, and they sounded great. I don't view any of that stuff as metal (except maybe Mudvayne), but it worked for me as pop music.

Then they put out the exact same record. I must say I was disappointed. But now I listen to Lamb of God and Unearth, so its OK. I thank em for opening the doors for more indie stuff.

ok here it goes

I LOVE LINCOLN PARK.
don't care anymore what anyone thinks, we all have opinions.
I listened to the songs on the radio though "Man this is REALLY over produced...i bet they cant pull that off live.!"
wrong.
They do all there backing vocals and all that shit live. I don't know who writes the lyrics, and some times it IS repetitive...but i love it@

I love his stuff, I wish he would create a CD of just his work. On all the CDs and the unreleased EP (before the band was called Linkin Park) I love when there is just a short track of his stuff or a long outro done by him. . . .

lol, can't even spell their name. They can't actually. Anyways, Linkin Park are easily the most annoying and pathetic fucking bands I've been having to deal with for the last 5 years now. When they first came out, I laughed at what a complete rip off of every nu band with a dj they were (especially the gay bleached hair and wigger buttsex hen dancing) and Chester's (could anyone have a more pathetic name?) horridly homosexual and agitating vocals. Their songs are replicated hooks and melodies that have been sung and played 23492384 times by much better bands. So yeah, they're not original. They're not talented. Their songs are overrated and something only a 13 yr old angst monger could love and please die all of you. Thanks.
