my only problem is your constant knocking of different genres...your no better then the death metal elitests, the industiral elitests, punk elitests...so and so forth...its ok to be passionate about stuff...but dont try and bring people down cuz they are into different shit...oh and you never answered my question...

Heh..to me hardcore music is anything that makes me want to either
a.)elbow some fucking alternateen in the ribs
b.)do a nice stage dive and kick someone in the teeth with my doc martens
c.)do the charles whittman from the space needle
other than that...I really never did get all this labeling of metal music..
if the shit is good,you can mosh it up,let out some anger..then its good..
as far as that goes,I am inspired by bands like Flotsam and Jetsam,GBH,DRI,The Accused (Long Live Chewy)..shit like that.
I also like alot of 'black metal/death/grind' what ever..but when you start puting labels on shit all it does is narrows and closes your mind to other stuff that is good..
I really hope I never accidentally write the "wrong" kind of riff and end up getting thrown into some lame fucking sub-genre. Play and and listen to whatever sounds cool to you. Fuck catagories.
