How many people showed up to El Corazon last night? We had about 20 at Studio 7...(not including the bands that were playing)

Bout the same man. Maybe 30ish tops. Sound guy really screwed things up and the monitors weren't really happenin, so maybe its good the attendance was low key. Wasn't stoked either way, worthless night.

I'm always impressed when bands are gracious enough to remember the people that DO show up.

At least I can know that I went to Drawn and Quartered and Satan's Host in both Tacoma and Seattle. It was cool to talk to Vulga Brian at the Seattle show.

With that in mind I saw zero promotion for either show. No flyers, no ads, nothing. it helps...

Posting on a couple message boards and spamming myspace does not constitute promotion

For the seattle show...

Post by Cardboardurinal »

I know that Studio 7 had fliers that one of the members that Pain Syndicate had made. I just didn't seen any of them up prior to the show (I know because I got a few from Tracy). I don't think it is the job of the bands to do all the promoting, selling tickets, etc...

I went to ChurchBurner on Friday night. They sounded really, really good. Also playing was Hunab Ku and Drown Mary.

I heard Vulgarizer's Brian and Phil went to other shows.
Take a picture, trick. I'm on a boat, bitch.

Yeah, they both showed up at Studio 7.
When I found out that Churchburner was playing El Corazon...I assumed you would go to that one. Either way, both shows needed support it didn't get...too bad. I thought with Drown Mary playing, more people would show up, I guess I was wrong on that one.

So it looks like we've established the fact that everybody actually DID go to a show somewhere, but that really has nothing to do with what started this thread.
