Go Places Up North to Promote Shows?

Post by Morbid »

I'm looking for some good places up North (Lynnwood area) to leave fliers/posters at.

I know Guitar Center is a good place, but other then that I am not sure of anywhere. I'm thinking about stopping by FYE on 196th to see if I could leave some stuff there. Anyone know any more places? How about in the Alderwood Mall? Hot Topic or something has gotta do something.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
John

that guitar center in lynnwood is full of fags and posers, there's only 2 cool people that work there. It might work though, I don't know. Face it, John- You and I are virtually the only people in the Lynnwood area who play or care about this kind of music:mad:

yeha, I'm in Mountlake Terrace and there's only a few people, including myself and Lord Aaron. In mukilteo-ZILCH, besides one band that practices on the next street next to my parents house, I think they are called Bury Me Deep? I don't know, my parents talk to them from time to time and supposively they are extreme metal, I haven't heard them yet.

and hey Kimbo, you need to resize your signature! and change your picture, that punk ass got knocked the fuck out!

Hot Topic is a great place, went to 2 today, and although I don't like that store, they were very cool with leaving fliers, the one in the Alderwood Mall said I could bring in the big poster and they would put it up!

I wish Seattle bands would really come up north, to Canada, eh. Victoria is a good town with good bars and good support for heaviness.

Helix is playing Sugar Nightclub here on the 24th. Should be wicked!

Local guys "Three Inches of Blood" are also playing at Sugar in January.
Nov.8th Dismember, Augury, & Unleash The Archers @ Soprano's
Nov.21st SNFU, Left Spine Down, The Frostbacks, The Hoosegow @ Lucky Bar
Heather at Clove and Anchor, and Dimitri at Atomique productions are good promoters of metal and punk shows.

I'm just saying, it would be nice to see some Seattle acts on these bills.

It doesn't snow in Victoria. Doesn't really rain all that much either. We have more homeless per capita than most places.
