I'm stoked for this!

I sure as fuck wish that Lamb Of God would tour with bands that I want to see live.

Metallica put on a pretty good show. The sound was great. the new stuff sounded fucking great live. Lars fucked up Sanitarium . I love hearing natural drums live . its sounds real. Best Metallca show Ive seen in a long time.

LOG.. blah... they were ok. ( I miss Pantera)

The Sword. ROCKED. Very sabbath like heavy grooves.

Metallica fucking rules!

Post by metalgrrl »

and they proved they still got it last night. I don't care what anyone says metallica is still one of the BEST metal bands out there! Last night was off the freakin hook and I couldn't talk after the show, let alone move my neck, it actually feels broken today and I wish I had a neck brace to keep it from moving.

Oof, I told ya they play puppets and welcome home
I had a lot of fun at the funhouse, i still feel like square dancing to sandman :smoke: I look forward to drinking with you again!

I honestly think that Lamb of God wiped the floor with Metallica. And Ive been a huge fan of Metallica since...well....84? The sound during Metallica's set was horrible. The kick drum was so fucking loud that it drowned out every other instrument. They couldnt get a proper vocal level on any of the mics around the stage. Lars fucked up so many times that I lost ALL respect for the idiot.

I still had a great time with friends. And I was happy to finally see LOG. But all in all I was pretty disappointed.

Section 118. I was about 15 or so rows up from the floor. I was still hecka close. I tried listening to the set with and w/o ear plugs. Just didnt sound good to me at all.

But the next time they come around Im getting floor tix. I couldnt believe how empty the floor was from where I was sitting.
