I'm thinking about going to this. Never been to Maryland, but I have cousins in DC I could stay with. Plus, Misery Index is one of my new favorite bands.

Never thought the day would come that I said that's way too much metal for me, but that's way too much metal (and money) for me.

When 50% of our VERY OWN MetalShop comes out and makes a statement like THIS... I think we've reached an all-time low.

Shame on you, Kevin! Shame on you.

Personally, I just enjoying spending some of my music listening time these days on things that aren't metal. There's lots of other rad tunes out there, too.

Plus, 3 days of blastsbeats and growling amongst thousands of sweaty, smelly, dirty, trashed metalheads isn't my idea of such a fun time anymore.

I'd reallllllly fucking love to see Bolt Thrower though. If that fest were in Seattle, I'd go for sure.

yeah, if they just took the best of all those bands and made it a one day fest it would be much better.

Yeah, Bolt Thrower is one that got me all excited for this.

It would start to get real dull though with the bands that would blend one into each other with 15 minutes sets. :)

Yep, at the Brooklake Grange in Federal Way on the Warmaster tour. Openers were Sacrifice and Believer. Sweet show, I even got to play some Missile Command on the BT bus with Jo Bench :)

I have a VHS of that show (I shot it myself) somewhere.

Bolt Thrower are one of the few bands of the "old guard" that I have never seen.

Now I'm sad. :whine:

You got to see Believer?! Lucky biatch.

Oh, and I just checked airfare... less than $260 round trip! I may be able to swing this after all, since Uncle Sam was really good to me this tax season...
