The first two local bands sucked but Chapstik (Detroit) was pretty damn good. The Meatmen killed them though. Tesco Vee has still got it after 30 years and I'm very happy that I was finally able to see them (him?) live. I did some pitting too, it's been a long time since music has driven me to do that
This was probably the best show I have seen this year!
Songs included (not in order)
War of the Superbikes
Highest Power (GG Allin)
I Love Livin' In The City (Fear)
Evil in a League With Satan (Venom)
Alcohol (Gang Green)
Two Down Two to Go
Tooling for Anus
Crippled Children Suck
Mr Tapeworm
I Sin For A Living
Rock & Roll Juggernaut
True Grit
We're The Meatmen And You Suck
And more.
Some non-professional pics from my crappy point and shoot. I am glad I didn't bring anything else as it would have surely been destroyed
The Meatmen killed tonight!

The Funhouse. Why is it so hard to believe it was that good? The Meatmen make incredible music and as long as Tesco Vee is at the helm it was always be great:)knivesandnecks wrote:Wow! Where was that? Can't believe it was that good!
