It seems like yesterday we were hanging and having a nerd talk about the last Batman flick, and who we thought was the best Batman so far. I miss him, but instead of having a sad day, I will do something fun and be happy. As cliched as it sounds, the truth is that he would not want anyone to sit around and mope about it. So, as hard as it is, try to have a smile for Kurt today :)

Sounds like a plan. Here's to my friend Kurt, who believed in me after all those years apart, and that when I was being hard on myself (no pun intended this time), that I should just relax and have a good time. Love ya man (he would say i'm being gay, but what can I do?)!

Later

I think I had a sign :0)

On my way home from work I usually listen to KZOK, but tonight for some reason I decided to turn it to KJR. Just then "Spirit in the Sky" started playing. It might or might not be a little "Hey" from Kurt, but I like to think so. It is one hell of a coincidence too. It made me smile :0)

Today is the anniversary of the day most of us found out what had happened, and the anniversary of the press conference in that shitty little Tacoma bar. Truth is, I've been in a shitty mood all week, stayed up late last night playing on the computer and just happened to cruise over to the NME myspace profile. One thing led to another, and I visited the NME666 website and then the image page, where I found Pix from the Charlie's B&G show in April of '03. (Also the Mar. 29 '03 4th Ave show where I first met the guys). Stayed up to 3am working on one of the pix in my crappy lil ol graphics program, but I liked the result. It's in my sig.

Hails, Kurt. We still miss you.:dsmoke:
