So on Saturday I cruised over to Russty Gonad's place to lay down some bass tracks. The first hour and a half or so I spent fucking off and half-ass warming up while Russ soldered together his recording gear. We finally got started and got a reasonable tone dialed in. We used 3 tracks, one line out of my Sansamp DI, and stereo tracks out of my Boss GT-6B. I used my six-string Spector. We did four tunes, 'As Close to Death', 'Bleeding', 'Tounge-tied and Twisted' and 'The Wicked'- in that order. It all went pretty smoothly, with the first song taking the longest. Fortunately, I'm learning to be less picky when it comes to recording bass, otherwise I'd only get one song done a week. Fix it in the mix, I say. It only took about 3 1/2 hours to do those tracks. I'll get pix up later.

Russ, said they went well.

But we can now listen and replace as we go without any worries. :)

Russ and I talked about it and I think we should use all 64 tracks. :) ahahahaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!
