The Braindead have teamed up with punk bastards Potbelly for a split 7", due out late 2006 on PB Records.

We'ld like to thank Jason from Potbelly for giving us the opportunity to do the split. The band has always talked about putting something out on vinyl and now it looks like it is going to happen.

"The Wicked" will be the track appearing on the split.

When I have more details, I will pass it onto you all.

I have a bunch of other news to pass on but all in due time.

Yeah, it's gonna be cool to have hangin' on the wall.

Ended up using the "Wicked" since it is the only song under 4 minutes that has the entire current line up featured.

Gonna re-mix and fix some stuff and do the artwork this weekend.

Hey Jeff, it's sounding killer but the guitars need more presence. :) More beef.

:dsmoke:

I should be there on Saturday if we still get together.

I hear you Jeff!!!!!!!

Thanks Charlie and Andy.

The other news is that The Braindead will also being appearing in a documentary that is being done about Northwest Punk's History. I have to say that I am totally stoked about this one, I just hope we don't end up on the cutting room floor. :)

Not sure of all the details other then the movie is hoping to debut at next years Seattle Film Festival.

Pretty bad ass to know that we will be on there with the Rickets, The Accused, Poison Idea, DOA and so many others like John Purkey who is a drum god!!!!!!!

Well, hope to have more down the pipeline.

I always thought The BrainDead would make an awesome documentary subject, particularly due to the longevity. Congrats!

ha ha ha, is JG going to be interviewed in his underwear?!?!? That would be pretty funny! How aboot clark in the nuns uniform :D ha ha ha ha. Dude this rules!!! You guys 'n the Accused in a documentary! Are they going to show any footage from today's concerts? Because that would be cool to show the braindead in 86 and then in 06. As well as all the other bands!

There isn't any footage of the first line up of The Braindead or hell any of the line up in the 80's. I don't have too many pics either.

Right now, he is going to interview me about the history of the band and after that I am not quite sure.

Talked for about an hour with him but I will find out more in a few weeks.

There isn't such a thing called the best GBH album because they all rock.

But I would start with City Baby Attacked By Rats and City Baby's Revenge.

We completed "The Wicked", we have made a few different versions of it because we can. Thanks to Roscoe having all the goods at his house.

There will be a version of the song that you can only get on this release and then we will be doing a different version of the song later on down the road.

Hoping to make a new video for the song.
