Oh man, how small the world get on the internet.

A great friend found us on myspace and man, the picture she posted brought back a floodgate of memories.

It is a picture of the band from 1987, Nightmares/Lost Somewhere....line up. Playing a house party for our friend Sophie's Annual Halloween party. Still one of the best gigs in band history, it was packed, 3-400 folks, having a good time.

The party was just out of the world and pure nuts. We opened with Eruption and went into You Really Got Me Now. So while the band started, I was finishing up in the bathroom with a fine young gal named April. So I was feeling good, as the kicked into the Kinks, I dove over the crowd, feel into the drumset and as I did, grabbed the mic and started screaming. The place turned into a riot for the next hour or so.

Such a good time. Seems so long ago, wait, it was a long time ago. 20 years ago. ahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa

But we also have touched base with the producer of our Red CD and plan on doing some recording with him in the future and he is going to help us redo some old recordings and touch up some recent ones.

Life is good.

We used to have huge Halloween parties, too. Always fun to play.

I wish you could see the denim though. I loved that denim and Russ lost it. It was so damn metal. ahahahaaaaaaa

I have a few somewhere but I was so fucking hammered for this show.

You can just make out Russ' guitar headstock in the right of the picture and see JD playing bass but he is blurred by the guy up front. And Matt Ohh looking the same as always, like he is off in another land.

Just found out that the guy with the green mask is none other then the Filth Keeper, Chris and the blonde blur is another Gullrat named Geoff.

Man, I'm having fun with this shit.

I LOVE these pictures. What a GREAT show that was, even though someone spilled beer all over my guitar. I spent several days getting all the beer out of the pickups :0)

Anyway, I enhanced the pictures so you can see a lot better. I'll link them up when I get home and post them here and on the BrainDead site (In the pictures section).

Great Pic! Looks like a blast!

It was a really fun night. Our friend Soph always had killer parties at her house. But there was something extra fun this night and it had nothing to do with the band. I've played other parties but the planets were alined on this one. Everyone was in such a great spirits, I have a hard time remember some stuff from the night due to age and time.

But I won't forget how many drugs I had in my system by the time we started playing. People were just handing me stuff, taking me to cars, the bathroom. You name it, it was just nuts.

I just posted these 3 pictures up in the 'Pictures' section. I also brightened them up so they are easier to see.

I'll be going through the pictures page over the next week or so and adding what we don't have. I especially want to get the old BD pics up. I have a bunch from 1984 to 1989 that I will add. Plus I'll make them better organized.
