Gacy

Post by Chris Slack »

Rented this from Cockbuster last night and was expecting great things after "Ted Bundy". While it was a decent watch I don't think I'll be buying this one simply because it didn't really offer any insight into the mind of ol' Pogo, it seemed to just scratrch the surface of his depravity and I wanted a lot more. Mark Holton did a good job as JWG, better than Brian Dennehy did, and the crawlspace scenes were very well done but there just wan't enough to this movie for me to wholeheartedly recommend it.

If everyone just chilled out a bit and listened to some rock&roll with their titties out, the scene would be a happier healthier place to be. -Deathboy- 2/28/08

Gacy

Post by Scott »

I picked this one up the other day and I must say I was very disappointed. I've read a couple of books on John Wayne Gacy and much of what is talked about in books is not mentioned in the film. For example, Gacy was bisexual, he was abused as a child, and the murders he committed were done in a bizarre ritualistic fashion. The movie touches on none of this.

I will agree with you though Chris that Mark Holton does do a good job as the killer clown, but I think he could've done a lot more if the people who made this flick researched him a little more.

If interested, I recommend the book BURIED DREAMS: INSIDE THE MIND OF A SERIAL KILLER or KILLER CLOWN.

Chris I think you're being to kind with this one, there wasn't 5 seconds of this turd that I enjoyed. It sucked hard from start to finish. Bundy is still the best of this series, the rest have sucked...
