hot shit! sign me up!

I've got some boots of the Something Weird tapes and I love what I saw. Thems is some strange flicks.

Awakenings of the Beast is a cool one. There's a poster in the movie that I've been searching for for so, so long. I would pay top dollar for it if I could find it... alas, I cannot.

Friend to "The Cause" Sergio Martorelli sent this info over to me this morning, but I got a cool, updated version! I know Fantoma are going to be releasing some more Coffin Joe titles Stateside, so I may wait before ordering these, but it sounds pretty mouth-watering, no?

LT, I believe the poster you are referring to is the art from "The Strange World of Coffin Joe". I'd love to get me one of them myself...

I love the idea of the commentary on these, but to my knowledge, Joe doesn't speak English and I don't speak Portugese so unless his commentary is subtitled (which I don't think I've ever seen on a dvd), it'll just be an exercise in frustration.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new scene though!!

The commentary and supplements will be subtitled, I asked. I should be getting mailed pics of the covers sometime relatively soon, I'll post them when they arrive.

Was Strange World the one where the committee is going over Joe's movies as though he really is Coffin Joe? It's been probably five years since I've watched one of his movies, so I'm a little foggy on the memory. A series of short flicks and then a longer one about a psych experiment involving acid and a poster of Coffin Joe?

If so... that that poster is the one I want. I've never seen it anywhere. As a matter of fact, I've never seen a single Coffin Joe poster anywhere, which is too bad.
