Cheap DVDs at Borders!

While in the booming metropolis of Towson, MD today (for a job interview which went horribly) I stopped by a Borders store only to be surprised by the fact that they were currently having a sale on MGM DVDs - Buy 2, Get 1 Free! On top of this they also had coupons lying around the counter that offered $5 off any purchase over $50! It's a nice opportunity to catch up on some of those Midnite Movies discs you may have missed. Conveniently the boob running the register also managed to zero out another DVD I was purchasing effectively making it a "Buy One, Get One Free" sale! I grabbed JOHNNY FIRECLOUD/BUMMER, PHANTASM 4, SOUTHERN COMFORT, INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS, REPTILICUS, THE THING WITH TWO HEADS, and THE DUNWICH HORROR for a nice, cool sum of $56.66. Just thought I'd share.

Thanks for the tip Bruce! I've been meaning to snag a bunch more Midnite Movie dvds for awhile now so I stopped today and grabbed X-the Man With The X-Ray Eyes, It! The Terror From Beyond Space, The Angry Red Planet, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Mars Needs Women and Twice Told Tales. There's still quite a few I need so I may be heading back later if I can scrounge up the dough.

BTW, someone told me this excellent series has been or will be discontinued. Is this true? It would be a crying shame if so.....
