I was surprised at how much I liked this movie... because I'm not a fan of Gordon's work (aside from Re-Annimator).
A young nobody is hired by a man to follow a young man who works for the DA and is causing trouble for his business. Eventually our "hero" is asked to dispose of said troublemaker. They settle on a price and he takes care of said problem. Eventually they feel that the cops are getting suspicious and when the nobody they hired won't just take off out of town and eventually not give up a file he has... they take him to a house out in the desert with the intent to turn his brain to mush. Eventually he escapes and goes after them for revenge...
Simple enough. I would of liked to of seen our "hero" trip out a bit more then he did after those pretty brutal hits to the head... otherwise I really enjoyed this movie. Had some nice splatter too...

I was really surprised by this one, too. I'd passed it up at the store a bunch of times, but a friend of mine told me that it was pretty good, so I caved and checked it out. It's definitely worth a watch.
