Yakuza Demon... watched it awhile ago and all I'm going to say is PU

Watched Kintaro tonight and like the last Miike film I watched... PU!! Has he blown his load and is now just turning out crap films? I hope not... I have to say that the motorcycle gang at the end of this film was probably the most non threatening gang I have ever seen and their "gang" outfit... I couldn't stop laughing... and when Igo showed up from the hospital... !!! Wasn't he like in ICU?! Just awful...

It's good I only got it for $6. I never got to finishing Yakuza Demon, it was pretty boring so I ended up washing dishes for entertainment, true story.

Hmm, I could have sworn I'd already posted about Salaryman Kintaro (or Kintaro, The White Collar Worker) but I guess not. Anyway, that one is from 1999 so fortunately it isn't indicative of his current output. Since the guy makes movies at such an alarming rate, I'd often thought he must make them in his sleep in order to keep up the pace. It seems that Kintaro certainly was made that way at least. While I didn't think it was as bad as you did, it certainly was the worst one of his I've seen. It's pretty much completely uninteresting. And the one thing you can almost always say about his movies is that they are interesting. Just not this time.
