Takashi Miike's "City of Lost Souls"

Post by Valgamon »

I just ordered the HK DVD of this movie by the director of "Audition". Anyone seen it yet? No spoilers please, but I'd like to know if it's at least decent.

you just can't go wrong with Takashi Miike. I really want to get this movie but I'm willing to bet that the DVD is R3. Anyway, I have Audition, DOA and Fudoh and they're all great movies! Miike makes awesome movies!

Just watched this yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's like LOCK STOCK & TWO SMOKING BARRELS meets TRUE ROMANCE.

The disc is actually All region, and it looks and sounds great, BUT it's a flipper!! It appears that Mei Ah decided to pack 6 soundtracks onto this one (including a DTS track) and so spread the movie over 2 sides. However they did choose a very appropriate moment in the film for the break so it's not too irritating.
