Are you kidding? This one was an under-rated treat, and the DVD made it even better!

When the snake went up Oliver Reed's pant leg... AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

Oh, wait a minute. Wrong VENOM.

Never mind.

I think I'm going to wait to check out the DVD, but this one looks like it's got potential.

I caught a review of this film(the former "The Reaper")and read that it not only sucks, but many of the killings are off-screen.

And plus: Kevin Williamson took his name off the scriptwriting credits.

Even though this film might have its moments(since it's the first R-rated horror film since "The Devil's Rejects" from way back in July),seeing that the "Scream" scribe has removed his name off the credits is pretty much a bad sign that this film will be yet another celluloid clunker.

(Insert Kevin Williamson/"Scream" bashing/"Cursed" bashing remarks here)

Well, it didn't even OPEN for me, so I'm off the "hook." Thanks for the Williamson warning, though.

Gotta choose between EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE and CRY WOLF this weekend (appalling lack of free time this season). It's going to be easy.

Even though I shit on the whole PG-13 horror thing, I've heard nothing but decent buzz about Emily Rose. They're selling it like the Exorcist on TV, but I guess it's more of a court room thing.

Doesn't look like anyone got around to actually reviewing this. Fwiw, I enjoyed it. It's basically a bunch of teenagers against one voodoo resurrected super zombie. The plot is simple but efficient and some of the set pieces really worked for me. You get a few surprises along the way. Nothing major, just a couple scenes that you may not have seen coming. A few characters are annoying, but they die soon enough. I wont' recommend that you buy it, but give it a rental.
