RIP Moustapha Akkad

It's been confirmed. Moustapha Akkad, producer of Halloween, has passed. He died as a result of injuries sustained in the suicide bombings in Jordan.

His daughter was also killed in the attack. Both were in town for a wedding.

This totally blows ass!
On a high note, I believe he had his son working with him on the Halloween series so hopefully it will live on. I watched an interview with him on one of the Halloween special editions and his plan was to keep the series alive as long as possbile.
