I know people tend to dread remakes of old films, but I have found some of them enjoyable. So, if you could hope for a remake of any movies, what would they be?
My list:
Sleepaway Camp
Jaws - Or at least another sequal w/ a baddass CGI shark
The Toxic Avenger - Toxie needs to go mainstream
Prom Night
Something Wicked This Way Comes
Your thoughts?

I'm usually not big on remakes either, but that movie
could be badass. It's one of the few movies that I really like as well as loving the book. Usually, I hate adaptations.
This time I would want
this song included.
(quote from the book regarding the calliope)
"Jim, the music that the calliope played when Mr. Cooger got younger-"
"Yeah?"
"It was the 'Funeral March'! Played
backwards!"
"
Which 'funeral march'?
"Which! Jim, Chopin only wrote one tune!
'The Funeral March'!"
"But why play it backward?"
"Mr. Cooger was marching
away from the grave, not toward it, wasn't he, getting younger, smaller, instead of older and dropping dead?"

Oh man, I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner!
SWAMP THING!!!!
Even though I love me some Adrianne Barbeau, I think a remake would kick ass.

This was allegedly remade already and I think it might be released under a different title (don't quote me on that yet).

The Shining.
With my actor friend as the lead. He reminds me so much of Jack, and I think he could play a great psycho.

I'd like to se a remake of "Faster Pussycat, Kill, Kill" only if it was shot in the way Sin City was, with a directing combination Quentin Tarentino and Rob Zombie.
not really a horror flick, but, would be good none the less....
