Barf!

Post by dr coathanger »

I was listening to Dee Snider's Fangoria radio tonight. He and Anthony Timpone were discussing upcoming remakes that have been greenlighted, with the most barftastic (in my eyes) being the re-remake of The Thing.
Gee, can't wait to see all those great effects redone with shitty CGI.

I really don't get all that upset about remakes anymore. I won't see The Thing remake and I still have the original

Latte has a good approach, hahaha.

I follow something similar, I pretty much ignore it. If it's not a remake I care to see, I don't see it, talk about it, etc.

Reminds me of a Tales from the Crypt episode, "IGNORE IT, IGNORE IT, IGNORE IT!"
Damnit, Beavis, put that away. You're not supposed to have your penis out when you're cooking.

Well maybe they will use good ole make up and puppets like they did in Slither.
Not all films end up on the CGI line
Pray this one dosent

I had to ask, are you referring to the original 1951 film or John Carpenter's "original remake"? :D I'm not sure about this one. If nothing else I'll see it just to see how it turns out. I recall a few years back there was talk circulating about a planned sequel to Carpenter's remake (around the time the video game came out). Does anyone know if it is still in the works or has it been axed?
