Are You Scared?

Post by Remo D »

Not a new movie. Just stumbled across it on demand.

Blatant, mindless SAW ripoff disguised as a "deadly game show" movie.

Really, can ANYONE out there justify this thing? Sure, it got MADE somehow, but this is the sort of thing that just SCREAMS "plagiarism lawsuit."

Seriously.

Ah.. you know, I saw that listing a few days ago and although it' said "Are You Scared?", I read "I'm Not Scared", that movie we disagreed about a couple years back. Might have to check it out if I'm bored at some point. Thanks for the heads up...

Oh man, you couldn't be more right. This was the most blatant rip-off since "Bloody Murder". And it was so stupid. However, the one effect with the dude getting his head cut off was pretty well done. But other than that, it's a total waste.

Like Anchor Bay Entertainment, just about everything that Lionsgate has released DTV that's genre-related(with the exception of their bigger budgeted projects "Crank","War",and "The Forbidden Kingdom")has been pure crap, for it must be a really bad oversaturation of the horror genre for both Anchor Bay and Lionsgate to needlessly released such truly awful films(that do more damage than good for our beloved horror genre :mad:).
